Abstract: A method in a network node includes receiving a radio resource control (RRC) connection reestablishment request from a user equipment (UE). The method includes generating a new Long identifier, ID, for the UE. The method includes determining whether a UE Context Fetch is successful. The method includes responsive to determining that the UE Context Fetch is not successful, determining whether a Long ID has been fetched. The method includes responsive to determining that the Long ID has been fetched, placing the Long ID that has been fetched in a UE Context Fetch Failure event.

Abstract: Apparatus and associated methods relate to a system for interfacing with an optically-powered sensor. The system includes an optical emitter configured to emit a beam of optical energy so as to provide operating power for the optically-powered sensor. The system includes an optical detector configured to detect a time sequence of optical pulses generated by the optically-powered sensor, the time sequence of pulses modulated between first and second optical power levels. The system includes a parameter extractor configured to determine a value of a sensed parameter based on the time sequence of optical pulses detected by the optical detector. The system also includes a power controller configured to control power level of the emitted beam of optical energy based on the first and/or second optical power levels detected by the optical detector.

The containers may have biasing members such as tension poles to hold the containers in an upright and open top position and/or may have sleeves that can be engaged by a forklift for dumping of the container by a conventional forklift equipped garbage truck. The containers may include additional features such as loops along a top edge to allow grasping of the loops by a lift and loops along a bottom edge to allow dragging of the container such as onto a flatbed hauler. Additional features may include a top cover that can be pulled over the open top and secured such as by a fastener.

The fixture guard panels may have a variety of configurations such as including an enclosure formed of a flexible material that contains a padding layer. The panel may be placed adjacent the fixture such that the panel protects the fixture from impacts and abrasions. The panel may include individual sheets of material to enclose padding, may include padding without an enclosure, or may include an individual sheet without padding. The individual sheets may be materials such as polyethylene and/or non-skid rubber. For panels with non-skid rubber, the panel may be positioned so that the non-skid rubber portion contacts the fixture and will not skid. Panels may include flexible sheets with adhesive that adheres to the fixture, such as upon vertical fixture surfaces. Additionally, multiple panels may be included as a system.
