  • Publication number: 20240353816
Abstract: A method of programless assembly of a device using a robotic cell comprising calibrating a robotic cell for generating a product model, the robotic cell including an end-of-arm camera and utilizing the robotic cell to generate the product model of the device for assembly. The method in one embodiment further comprises validating the product model using a partial assembly method and making the product model available for use by robotic cells.

  • Patent number: 9187079
Abstract: A retarding system for an electric drive machine is provided. The retarding system includes an electrical retarding system and a hydraulic braking system. A single pedal controls both the electrical retarding system and the hydraulic braking system. The pedal includes a first range of travel that provides input to the electrical retarding system and a second range of travel that additionally controls the hydraulic braking system. The pedal further includes different levels of travel resistance in each of the two ranges of travel that correspond to providing inputs to the electrical retarding system and the hydraulic braking system.

  • Publication number: 20050267713
Abstract: A data acquisition system for a work machine has at least one sensor disposed on the work machine. The at least one sensor is configured to produce a signal indicative of an operating parameter of the work machine. The data acquisition system also has an identification module disposed on the work machine and configured to receive an input corresponding to a machine operator. The data acquisition system further has a controller disposed on the work machine and in communication with the at least one sensor and the identification module. The controller is configured to record and link the signal and the input. The data acquisition system additionally has a communication module disposed on the work machine and in communication with the controller. The communication module is configured to transfer the recorded and linked signal and input from the controller to an off-board system.

  • Publication number: 20050264396
Abstract: A security system for a work machine has a controller operatively disposed on the work machine that includes a memory with a list of access codes stored in the memory. The security system also has an input device in communication with the controller. The input device is configured to receive an identification code and to transfer the identification code to the controller. The security system further has an off-board system disposed at a location remote from the work machine and configured to receive a change to the list of access codes and to store the change in at least one removable memory device. The security system further has a memory reader in communication with the controller. The memory reader is configured to read the at least one removable memory device and to transfer the change from the at least one removable memory device to the memory of the controller.

  • Publication number: 20050246040
Abstract: A control system for a work machine has an input device operable to receive an input indicative of an operator profile and to generate a signal related to the operator profile. The control system also has a controller in communication with the work machine and the input device. The controller is configured to receive the signal and to change at least one operating parameter of the work machine in response to the signal.
