  • Publication number: 20180051422
Abstract: A flat bar elastic rail clip in which the flat bar is turned back on itself so that one portion is longer than the other. The flat bar incorporates an opening in both portions to accommodate a rail spike that is held in the rail tie. This type of spike is usually used in combination with a concrete tie and a guide plate that seats on the rail seat of the tie. The combination of a shaped flat bar clip which is capable of providing both rail clamping and rollover protection configurations in combination with a guide plate and spike.

  • Publication number: 20170350471
Abstract: An actuator arrangement for applying a torque to a shaft of a machine, in particular a reciprocating piston engine, includes: a) at least one actuator device for applying the torque; and b) at least one rotatable seismic mass coupled to the shaft. The at least one actuator device is designed to apply the torque to the shaft between the seismic mass and the shaft. A corresponding method is provided for active damping of torsional vibrations of the shaft having the actuator arrangement.

  • Patent number: 9494027
Abstract: Control device (100) controlling a drilling operation and methods by which the dynamics of the continuum in question can be divided into superimposed waves, of which the wave traveling in the direction of the actuator and/or drive (10) is compensated by the actuator. This prevents reflection of the energy on the actuator. By using two sensors (30, 40) the wave traveling towards the actuator (10) and the wave traveling away from the actuator (10) can be calculated separately from one another, so that both the parameters of the wave traveling toward the actuator and the parameters of the wave traveling away from the actuator can be determined in order to be able to perform a control of the driving device of the drill string (20) on this basis.

  • Patent number: 9297122
Abstract: The invention relates to a guide plate for a system for fastening a rail to a substrate on which there is provided, laterally of the railway track, a shoulder, which absorbs the forces occurring when the rail is traveled on by a rail vehicle, the guide plate having an underside which is associated with the substrate and an upper side which is exposed in the installation position, is remote from the underside and on which it is possible to support a spring element provided for applying resiliently elastic holding-down forces to the rail to be fastened.

  • Patent number: 8430335
Abstract: An elastic tensioning clamp made of spring steel for rail fixation comprises a central loop (44) having two inner legs (46) connected by an arc-shaped central portion (48) as well as nooses (42) connected to the inner legs (46) of the central loop (44) and running towards the free ends (50) of the tensioning clamp (40). The nooses (42) are formed so as to have, in the unloaded state, a maximum height (H) of at least 20 mm above the upper plane (E2) of the central loop (44) in the region of the two inner legs (46).

  • Patent number: 7992798
Abstract: A system for fastening a rail on a substrate includes a base plate, molded into which is a central portion, the width of which is adapted to the width of the rail foot of the rail to be fastened, with at least one fastening element for connecting the base plate to the substrate. The at least one tensioning element is provided for holding down the rail on the base plate. The system provides a fastening system allowing fastening of rails that satisfies modern requirements with the additional benefit of low production costs and simple assembly, while maintaining the basic configuration of the base plate provided and using simple means.

  • Publication number: 20110047786
Abstract: A guide plate for securing a rail on a substrate, at which a shoulder is provided at the side of the rail path has an underside facing the substrate and an upper side, lying freely in the installation position and facing away from the underside, on which a spring element is supported. With such a component it is possible to build a rail securing arrangement with a system, in which the forces are dispersed by a shoulder present at or in the solid substrate, whereby a cut-out is formed into the underside, the dimensions of which are adapted to the shoulder such that, in the installation position, the shoulder engages freely into the cut-out, and in that a reinforcement rib is formed at a roof surface opposite an opening of the cut-out, which projects in the direction of the opening over a height which is less than the cut-out.
