  • Publication number: 20240410295
Abstract: A plug for brazing in a through-hole and for sealing a through-hole in a substrate of a gas turbine component. The plug has at least one elongate part and a head, wherein the head is made wider in cross section than the elongate part. The elongate part has a cross section which becomes smaller towards its end face along its longitudinal axis, wherein the elongate part has a peripheral region on its end face, wherein the peripheral region of the elongate part has a brazing filler metal. The head has a peripheral region on its end face, wherein the peripheral region of the head has a brazing filler metal, and the remaining and largest part of the elongate part and of the head has a mixture of brazing filler metal and a substrate material.

  • Patent number: 11321429
Abstract: A security system for a programmable electronic device of a vehicle, the electronic device including an interface that can be used for accessing and/or programming the electronic device by means of an external access. The security system includes a sensor configured to detect a position and/or orientation of the electronic device with respect to the vehicle, and a security module. The security module is configured to determine coincidence based on of the position and/or orientation of the electronic device with respect to the vehicle detected by the sensor and an expected position and/or orientation of the electronic device with respect to the vehicle, and in the event of a detected coincidence prevent access and/or programming of the electronic device.

  • Publication number: 20200208530
Abstract: A method of making a turbine airfoil includes generating an airfoil core (14) that includes a core exit along an extended portion (28) of the trailing edge (32) outside of the airfoil part geometry. Float points (12) are positioned along the extended portion (28) of the airfoil core (14). Each float point (12) includes a float feature (34) that includes a localized radially straight surface (42) extending out and creating a gap (18) between the airfoil core (14) and the mold shell (16).

  • Publication number: 20180297568
Abstract: An electronic brake pressure control system for a vehicle includes an anti-lock brake device and a vehicle movement dynamics control device. The latter includes dynamics control electronics which are attached to the vehicle separately from the anti-lock brake device and are connected to a brake pressure control unit of the anti-lock brake device via a line connection. The dynamics control electronics are attached to a pressure medium assembly of the brake pressure control system and form, with the pressure medium assembly, a structural unit which is pre-assembled and secured to the vehicle. The dynamics control electronics are effectively isolated from little-side interference vibrations. The brake pressure control system, with or without vehicle movement dynamics control, is made available commercially in parallel and in a cost-effective way despite respective small individual production numbers.

  • Patent number: 9491110
Abstract: A method for securing data packets to be transmitted via an interface includes determining a check number over at least a portion of a first data packet and at least one portion of a second data packet. For this purpose, the first data packet is arranged according to a transfer protocol in a first data frame and the second data packet is arranged according to the transfer protocol in a second data frame.

  • Patent number: 8648622
Abstract: A method for monitoring a frequency signal provided within a unit is disclosed. The method comprises a step of receiving one or more binary signal levels of a cycle signal (CLK) or a control signal (CS) from a communication interface (CLK, CS, MOSI, MISO), wherein the communication interface (CLK, CS, MOSI, MISO) is designed to transfer information according to a communication protocol. The method further comprises a step of providing the frequency signal in the unit and comparing the frequency signal to a temporal sequence of signal levels of the cycle signal (CLK) received by the communication interface (CLK, CS, MOSI, MISO) in order to obtain a comparison result or controlling a counter by the control signal (CS) and the frequency signal in order to obtain a counter status.
