  • Publication number: 20240011813
Abstract: In some implementations, one or more devices may determine whether an electrical circuit is closed or open, the electrical circuit including electrodes of the sensor device, the electrical circuit being closed based on the electrodes being immersed in a lubricant in a cavity of a component of a track assembly of the machine, the electrical circuit being open based on the electrodes not being immersed in the lubricant in the cavity. The one or more devices may generate sensor data based on determining that the electrical circuit is open, the sensor data indicating that a level, of the lubricant in the cavity, does not satisfy a level threshold. The one or more devices may cause the machine to perform an action based on the sensor data indicating that the level does not satisfy the level threshold.

  • Publication number: 20230400291
Abstract: In some implementations, one or more devices may determine an electrical property of a wear measuring component of a sensor device, the sensor device being provided in a first cavity of a track link pin of a track assembly of the machine, the wear measuring component extending from the first cavity through a second cavity of the track link pin to an outer surface of the track link pin. The one or more devices may determine a length of the wear measuring component based on the electrical property. The one or more devices may generate sensor data indicating an amount of wear of the outer surface based on the length of the wear measuring component. The one or more devices may provide the sensor data to a controller of the machine to cause the controller to provide a notification regarding the amount of wear of the outer surface.

  • Publication number: 20230150592
Abstract: An idler for an undercarriage system in a track-type machine includes an idler rim having an outer rim surface extending around an idler axis of rotation, and a plurality of one-piece wear pads attached to the idler rim upon a first axial side and a second axial side of a radially projecting central guide flange. Each of the one-piece wear pads includes a sacrificial head supported on the outer rim surface, and having a base in interlocking engagement with the idler rim.

  • Publication number: 20230150593
Abstract: An idler for an undercarriage system in a track-type machine includes an idler rim having an outer rim surface extending circumferentially around an idler axis of rotation and forming a centrally located guide flange. The outer rim surface further forms a first ring channel and a second ring channel upon a first axial side and a second axial side of the centrally located guide flange, respectively. A first sacrificial wear ring is seated in the first ring channel and a second sacrificial wear ring is seated in the second ring channel.

  • Patent number: 11572113
Abstract: A track roller rim is disclosed. The track roller rim may include an outer member including an annular configuration defining an axis of rotation, a radial direction, and a circumferential direction disposed about the axis of rotation, where the outer member has an inner circumference, an outer circumference, a first axial end disposed along the axis of rotation, and a second axial end disposed along the axis of rotation. The track roller rim may include a first annular inner member, where the first annular inner member is interference fit within the inner circumference of the outer member at the first axial end. The track roller rim may include a second annular inner member, where the second annular inner member is interference fit within the inner circumference of the outer member at the second axial end.

  • Publication number: 20230009851
Abstract: A sprocket segment assembly for use with a sprocket of a tracked machine includes a first circumferential sprocket segment including a tooth with a first bushing contact surface, a second bushing contact surface, and a top surface extending circumferentially between the first bushing contact surface and the second bushing contact surface. The first bushing contact surface defines a cavity, and a roller extending proudly of the first bushing contact surface.
