    Abstract: A pump (2) is secured to a reservoir vessel (3) with a seal interposed. The seal contains a filter unit (20) to enable filtered outside air to be replenished in the reservoir chamber (35) in the course of it being emptied. As a result of this the air does not need to flow through the interior of the pump (2). In addition, the filter (21) does not need to be selected according to requirements until pump and reservoir are assembled. Furthermore, assembly is simplified and no separate mount for the filter (21) is needed.
