  • Patent number: 10836658
Abstract: A preparation including a) at least one N-formal and b) at least one dialkylhydroxylamine. The preparation is preferably formulated as a concentrate. The preparation can be used (in particular in the form of the concentrate) for the reduction of free oxygen and the preservation of water, and also correspondingly additivated water. The mixture of N-formals with dialkylhydroxylamine is not only outstandingly compatible, but considerably improves the activity of dialkylhydroxylamines as oxygen scavengers.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: August 8, 2018
Date of Patent: November 17, 2020
Assignee: VINK CHEMICALS GMBH & CO. KG
Inventors: Ralf Gradtke, Wolfgang Beilfuss, Jennifer Knopf, Michael Streek
  • Patent number: 10640714
Abstract: The invention relates to the use of a composition comprising a) 3,3?-methylenebis(5-methyl oxazolidine) and b) one or more additives selected from among (i) urea, urea derivatives, amino acids, guanidine and guanidine derivatives and (ii) 1,2-diols in the removal of sulphur compounds from process streams. The composition is preferably used in the removal of hydrogen sulphide from process streams.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: December 13, 2016
Date of Patent: May 5, 2020
Assignee: VINK CHEMICALS GMBH & CO. KG

  • Patent number: 6918953
Abstract: A pressure swing adsorption (PSA) system including a first group of PSA modules having a plurality of first PSA modules, and a second group of PSA modules having a plurality of second PSA modules. The system includes a feed gas manifold, a product manifold, and a waste manifold connected to the first PSA modules and the second PSA modules. Each first PSA module operates on a first PSA cycle in synchronization with the other first PSA modules, and each second PSA module operates on a second PSA cycle in synchronization with the other second PSA modules. The first PSA cycle is offset from the second PSA cycle. The PSA modules include a plurality of pressurized adsorbent chambers, an inlet manifold, and an outlet manifold. A rigid structure is provided that connects the inlet manifold to the outlet manifold, and structurally joins the inlet and outlet manifolds to the adsorbent chambers.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: July 9, 2003
Date of Patent: July 19, 2005
    Assignee: H2Gen Innovations, Inc.
Inventors: Franklin D. Lomax, Jr., Troy Hickman, John S. Lettow, Michael Streeks, Vinay Prasad
