  • Patent number: 10227445
Abstract: The invention relates to a dual-curing solvent-free single-component mass for the bonding, molding, sealing and coating of substrates, in particular of electronic components. The mass comprises an at least bifunctional epoxy-containing compound; a hybrid compound carrying at least one isocyanate group and, at the same time, at least one radically polymerizable group; a latent curing agent based on nitrogen compounds suitable for crosslinking the epoxy-containing compound by addition reaction; a photoinitiator capable of forming radicals when irradiated with light, and optionally other additives. The mass is characterized in that it is surface dry after light curing by means of radical photopolymerization.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: August 2, 2013
Date of Patent: March 12, 2019
Assignee: DELO INDUSTRIE KLEBSTOFFE GMBH & CO. KGAA
    Inventors: Juergen Koebler, Michael Stumbeck

  • Patent number: 8480845
Abstract: We propose a thermosetting solvent-free single-component composition having a storage stability at room temperature of at least 2 weeks, consisting of (A) 5-90 parts by weight of one at least difunctional (iso)cyanate component, (B) 5-50 parts by weight of a latent curing agent solid up to a temperature of at least 40° C. based on nitrogen compounds suitable for addition crosslinking, (C) 0-50 parts by weight of an epoxy-containing compound and (D) 0-50 parts by weight of modifiers, with the sum of all parts by weight being 100, and its use for bonding, casting, sealing and coating of substrates, in particular electronic parts. The composition is cured at 120° C. to 150° C. within seconds.

  • Patent number: 6420450
Abstract: Cationically hardening masses are described, which can be stored and handled as single-component masses and comprise at least one difunctional cationically polymerizable compound; a photo-initiator for the cationic hardening based upon diaryliodonium salts; at least one compound containing an hydroxyl group; a compound releasing radicals when heated and having a half-life of one hour at a temperature of less than 100° C.; a photo-initiator forming radicals or of a photo-sensitizing agent for diaryliodonium salts; and from 0 to 60 parts by mass of modifier. The compounds are used for bonding, casting, sealing and coating of substrates.
