  • Publication number: 20220291072
Abstract: An information handling system includes a liquid cooling system and a coolant leak detector. The liquid cooling system circulates chilled coolant liquid to a component of the information handling system. The coolant liquid includes a fluorescent dye that emits light at a particular wavelength when the fluorescent dye is illuminated. The coolant leak detector system includes a light source, and a detector configured to detect light at the first wavelength. When the liquid cooling system develops a leak, the light source illuminates the first fluorescent dye in the leaked coolant liquid, the detector detects the light at the first wavelength, and the coolant leak detector provides an indication that the liquid cooling system has developed a leak in response to detecting the light at the first wavelength.

  • Patent number: 10441997
Abstract: A metal casting method and a plastic injection molding method in which an insert is molded in molten material such that no molten material enters the interior of the insert. The usage of a wire thread insert as insert has the advantage that for example in an aluminum cast part thread holes can be produced already as part of the casting process. For this purpose, the casting mold, the insert, as well as the casting method are described.
