  • Publication number: 20260118202
Abstract: An information handling system may include a coolant detection system to identify the presence of a leak in a liquid cooling system. The coolant detection system may initially set a timing and duration of an ultraviolet (UV) light to illuminate the liquid cooling system. The coolant detection system may then select at least one image from a plurality of captured images based on the set timing and duration of the UV illumination. The selected at least one image is further processed to enhance a fluorescent color on the image that can be indicative of the leak in the liquid cooling system.

Abstract: A leak sensor for monitoring a liquid cooing assembly of an information handling system includes a flexible dielectric substrate. A reference trace is formed on the flexible dielectric substrate. A first signal trace is formed on the flexible substrate substantially in parallel with a first portion of the reference trace. A second signal trace formed on the flexible substrate substantially in parallel with a second portion of the reference trace. The first and second signal traces are separated by insulation into separate regions on the flexible dielectric substrate. • Publication number: 20260063494
Abstract: A leak detector that detects a potential fluid leak within an information handling system includes a signal generator, voltage divider circuitry, microstrip differential sensing element, signal processor, and fluid leak indicator. The signal generator generates an AC signal and conveys the AC signal to the microstrip differential sensing element through the voltage divider circuitry. The microstrip differential sensing element includes a pair of protectively covered, edge-coupled microstrip traces that, when driven by the AC signal, generate a sensing signal that is output to the signal processor. The signal processor determines a phase of the sensing signal and generates, based on the phase, a capacitance value associated with the microstrip differential sensing element. The fluid leak indicator indicates the occurrence of a potential fluid leak within the information handling system if the capacitance value exceeds a predetermined threshold.

  • Publication number: 20260065003
Abstract: An information handling system may include a configuration detection system to identify different components within the information handling system by scanning one or more fluorescent based-markers on each of the components. A fluorescent based-marker is a labeling convention or a product code that uses a fluorescent dye on a barcode line, serial number, model number, fiducal marker, etc. to emit or reflect a different color wavelength when excited by an ultra-violet (UV) light. By using a preconfigured mapping table, the configuration detection system can determine one or more colors that correspond to the scanned fluorescent based-markers. The determined color or a combination of the determined colors can be used to identify each of the components in the information handling system.
