    Abstract: An air mouse system is described. The air mouse is configured to periodically transmit RF signals in order to trigger a plurality of ultrasonic transmitters arranged on a television. The ultrasonic transmitters transmit ultrasonic signals when being triggered by the RF signals from the RF trigger. An ultrasonic receiver receives the ultrasonic signals. A processor calculates a location of the air mouse with respect to the ultrasonic transmitters based on time differences of the ultrasonic signals transmitted by the ultrasonic transmitters arriving at the ultrasonic receiver. A series of locations of the air mouse forms a motion trail of the air mouse and the air mouse transmits the motion trail to the television wirelessly. The motion trail is projected as a cursor trail on the television screen by the television, to control the cursor on the television screen by virtue of the motion of the air mouse.

    Abstract: An injection molding tool for molded-in-color injection molding is disclosed. The tool includes a first mold half that includes a mold cavity, a second molding half that includes a molding core, an ejector pin fluidly associated with the first mold half, and a gas removal vacuum system fluidly associated with the ejector pin. The first mold half and the second mold half meet at a parting line that is free of vents. In operation, the two halves are brought together, defining a mold cavity therebetween. The gas removal vacuum system is activated to remove any air that is trapped between the two halves. Once the trapped air has been removed, an article-forming, polymerizable resin is injected into the mold cavity. The gas removal vacuum system is again operated to remove gas generated by the polymerizable resin during the injection process.

    Abstract: A one-piece trim bezel formed from multiple components. In the event of two co-molded components, the first co-molded part is composed of a polymerized material having an unpainted surface that may be a high gloss smooth surface or a textured low gloss surface and the second co-molded part, formed with the first part, is composed of a plateable plastic material. The plateable plastic material may be plateable with chrome. A multiple-shot injection molding process is used to form the one-piece trim bezel which joins the first co-molded part and the second co-molded part in one operation. The formed part is then subjected to a plating process during which time the chrome only deposits on the surface of the plateable plastic material of the second co-molded part while the surface of the first co-molded part remains unplated.

Extending from the top wall to the panel is at least one top wall supporting rib. The rib is positioned between the outer side walls. At least one of the outer walls is at an obtuse angle relative to the plane of the top wall. All three of the outer walls may be at an obtuse angle relative to the plane of the top wall. Lateral supports may be provided between the outer side walls and the panel.

The portions extend through the instrument panel as the airbag deploys. The protective film prevents the airbag from being damaged. The film layer also prevents the airbag from damaging the instrument panel. The instrument panel may be provided with a door for selectively covering the opening. The instrument panel assembly may include a hinge for pivotally connecting the door to the instrument panel.

    Abstract: A system and method for avoiding a single point of failure in the broadcast of streaming data. The system uses multiple redundant servers steaming the exactly same data to a failover device. The failover device buffers the steams into a primary and secondary data stream and automatically switches from the primary to the secondary data stream if it detects a corruption in the primary data stream. Since the buffered data packets of the two steams are identical and are synchronized, there is not outage for multicast receivers when the primary data source fails since there is a switch to exactly the same data in the next packet of the secondary data stream.
