  • Patent number: 7560971
Abstract: A level shift circuit for providing predictable outputs when VDDH is powering up and minimizing DC current when VDDL is powering up. The level shift circuit may have a control circuit that includes a first inverter with an input coupled to VDDL, one or more diodes coupled between the first inverter and its powering voltage supply, a second inverter coupled to an output of the first inverter (optionally coupled to its voltage supply via one or more diodes), a third inverter coupled to an output of the second control inverter, an NMOS transistor coupled to an output of the third inverter that forces the output of the level shift circuit to the ground voltage when enabled, and a PMOS transistor coupled to an output of the third inverter that disconnects a portion of the level shift circuit, and thus the output of the level shift circuit, from VDDH when disabled.

  • Publication number: 20090002883
Abstract: A magnetic device includes a write element having a write element tip and a conductive coil for carrying a current to induce a first field from the write element. A conductor proximate the write element tip carries the current to generate a second field that augments the first field. A driver provides the current to the conductive coil and the conductor, and a circuit phase shifts the current through the conductor relative to the current through the conductive coil.

  • Patent number: 6591250
Abstract: A system and method for managing virtual property is disclosed. In the system, virtual items are each represented by one or more digital objects and are managed by one or more computer systems functioning as an owner, broker, authenticator and provider.

  • Patent number: 6025616
Abstract: A power distribution system for a semiconductor die includes bonding pads located adjacent to and connected to power busses with connections between the bonding pads providing a parallel path for current. Connections may be provided by stitch bonds, by conductors within a substrate or by other means.

  • Patent number: 4964411
Abstract: A method generates signal data which is representative of short and long latency components of myoelectric signals. Production of myoelectric signals is repeatedly evoked in a muscle with triggering events. Myoelectric signal data which is representative of the produced myoelectric signals is stored as a temporal function of the triggering events. The myoelectric signal data is averaged before it is demodulated to produce short latency signal data representative of the short latency components of the myoelectric signals. The myoelectric signal data is also demodulated before it is averaged to produce combined short and long latency signal data. The combined signal data is summed with the short latency signal data to isolate the long latency signal data.

  • Patent number: 4480833
Abstract: An electromechanical amusement game apparatus including a frame, a playing surface supported by the frame, at least one player element movable by a manually operated mechanism along an elongated track in the playing surface, and a player piece movable along and over the playing surface in response to being engaged and propelled by the player element. A pair of the player elements are in opposed relation in a single track for movement therealong toward, in contact with, and away from each other in response to manipulation of the manually operated mechanism. As a result, a person playing the game can manually force his player element into contact with the player element of another person playing the game in a manner physically interfering with each other similar to checking in hockey and contact in other sports. The game playing surface is enclosed in a transparent hollow cover which supports a scoreboard and clock simulating structure in suspended relation over the playing surface.
