    Abstract: A leak protection system deflects leaking water away from the rack-mounted critical systems and detects and reports the existence of a leak. In embodiments, this is accomplished without compromising access to or visibility of the critical systems or thermal management of heat dissipated by the critical systems. In embodiments, the leak protection system produces a minimalist visual footprint with limited impact on the aesthetics of the rack-mounted critical systems and data center.
