  • Patent number: 11980968
Abstract: An additive manufacturing system includes an electrode head comprising an array of electrodes for depositing material to form a three-dimensional part. The array includes a first plurality of electrodes formed from a first metallic material having a first ductility and a first hardness, and a second plurality of electrodes formed from a second metallic material having a second ductility and a second hardness, wherein the first ductility is greater than the second ductility and the second hardness is greater than the first hardness. A power source provides electrical power for establishing a welding arc for each electrode. A drive roll system drives each electrode.

  • Publication number: 20240068358
Abstract: Systems and techniques are described for a fluid diode. In some examples, a fluid diode can include a first fluid path for a first flow of fluid to traverse the fluid diode via a first flow direction and a second fluid path for a second flow of fluid to traverse the fluid diode via a second flow direction. The first flow direction can be associated with a first pressure drop and the second flow direction can be associated with a second pressure drop that is different than the first pressure drop. Moreover, the first fluid path and the second fluid path can be configured to remain open to the first flow and the second flow in the first flow direction and the second flow direction.

  • Patent number: 11397474
Abstract: For wireless peripheral connection, a method establishes a plurality of wireless video connections between at least one computer and a breakout device. At least one of the plurality of wireless video connections is inactive. The method polls the at least one inactive wireless video connection within a specified time interval. The method maintains the at least one inactive wireless video connection in response to the polling.

  • Patent number: 11188038
Abstract: A method for predicting a path of a specific occupant of a number of occupants including receiving user access data, the user access data including a user identifier, an access time, and an access location, generating, a first model describing general sequences of access events associated with the number of occupants and a frequency of each of the general sequences, generating a second model describing specific sequences of access events associated with the specific occupant and a frequency of each of the specific sequences, and generating a path prediction model based on the first and second models, the path prediction model including a weighted score for each of the number of access control points, the weighted score associated with a probability the specific occupant accesses the access control point based on a last accessed access control point.

  • Patent number: 8432128
Abstract: A polygonal power pad includes an optional connector to connect to a power supply and a power network in the power pad. At least one power connector is coupled to the power network and is disposed on a periphery of the pad. The power connector is operable to receive and provide power to a provided adjacent pad. At least one power transfer coil embedded in the pad, is coupled to the power network to transfer power to a device proximate the pad.
