  • Patent number: 10248670
Abstract: Migrating content between enterprise content management systems is described. A source object identifier is identified for metadata tables for content for a source enterprise content management system, based on a migration job definition. The metadata tables are retrieved from the source enterprise content management system, based on the source object identifier. A target object identifier is identified for a target enterprise content management system, based on the metadata tables and the migration job definition. An object identifier map is created that maps the source object identifier to the target object identifier. The metadata tables are stored to the target enterprise content management system, based on the object identifier map. The content for the source enterprise content management system is retrieved. The content is stored as content for the target enterprise content management system.

  • Patent number: 10235645
Abstract: Case management systems and techniques are disclosed. In various embodiments, a hierarchical document permission model is received, the model describing a document hierarchy comprising a plurality of hierarchically related document nodes and defining for each of at least a subset of said document nodes one or more document roles and for each such role one or more document permissions with respect to that document node. The hierarchical document permission model is used to determine and enforce permissions with respect to case management instances to which the hierarchical document permission model applies.

  • Publication number: 20180341892
Abstract: Case management systems and techniques are disclosed. In various embodiments, a hierarchical permission model is received, comprising for each of at least a subset of case nodes comprising a hierarchical data model associated with a case model a corresponding set of case roles to be afforded permissions with respect to that case node and for each such case role a set of permissions to be associated with that case role with respect to that case node. The hierarchical permission model is used to enforce with respect to one or more case instances associated with the case model the permissions defined in the hierarchical permission model.

  • Patent number: 10108914
Abstract: Morphing object types in enterprise content management systems is described. A text properties file is created that maps properties associated with an object type to properties associated with a new object type. A database associated with an enterprise content management system is queried to retrieve objects based on the object type. The objects are stored in a staging database. The objects are deleted from the database. Property tables are created in the database based on the new object type. The objects are migrated from the staging database to the newly created property tables based on the text properties file.

  • Publication number: 20180101695
Abstract: A method and system for managing document dissemination are disclosed, including obtaining a plurality of operation logs from a plurality of local agents, where each of the plurality of local agents is executing on one of a plurality of clients. The method further includes identifying a document stored on a client of the plurality of clients, determining, using at least one of the plurality of operation logs, a dissemination path of the document between the plurality of clients, and performing an action based on the dissemination path of the document.

  • Publication number: 20180068183
Abstract: Systems and methods for assessing similarity of documents are provided. Embodiments of the systems and methods include extracting a reference document text from a reference document, extracting an archived document text from an archived document, and quantifying the reference document and the archived document. The systems and methods may also include determining a document similarity value of the quantified reference document and the archived document. Determining the document similarity value includes calculating a set of vector similarity values for a set of combinations of a reference document text vector and an archived document text vector, and calculating the document similarity value, including a sum of the plurality of vector similarity values.

  • Patent number: 9852337
Abstract: A method for assessing similarity of documents. The method includes extracting a reference document text from a reference document, extracting an archived document text from an archived document, and quantifying the reference document and the archived document. Quantifying the reference and archived documents includes tokenizing sentences of the reference document and archived document, respectively, and vectorizing the tokenized sentences to obtain a reference document text vector and an archived document text vector for each sentence of the reference and archived document, respectively. The method also includes determining a document similarity value of the quantified reference document and the quantified archived document.
