  • Patent number: 12236676
Abstract: Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on a computer storage medium, for generating realistic extensions of images. In one aspect, a method comprises providing an input that comprises a provided image to a generative neural network having a plurality of generative neural network parameters. The generative neural network processes the input in accordance with trained values of the plurality of generative neural network parameters to generate an extended image. The extended image has (i) more rows, more columns, or both than the provided image, and (ii) is predicted to be a realistic extension of the provided image. The generative neural network is trained using an adversarial loss objective function.

  • Publication number: 20250050585
Abstract: A computer system for dynamically controlling printing parameters within a three-dimensional printer receives an indication for printing a target object by the three-dimensional printer. The computer system accesses a materials attribute dataset. The materials attribute dataset describes different material properties of a plurality of thermoset materials or mixtures thereof. Based upon the materials attribute dataset, for each of the plurality of extruders, the computer system selects one or more thermoset materials among the plurality of thermoset materials for each of the plurality of extruder to form an extrudate and determines an extrusion configuration for the selected one or more thermoset materials. The computer system then generates a command to cause the plurality of extruders of the thermoset three-dimensional printer to implement the extrusion configurations for the plurality of extruders while printing the target object.

  • Patent number: 11633087
Abstract: An endoscope manipulator for performing robot-assisted endoscope manipulation comprises a movable robot base with a hollow trunk and a vertical lifting joint; a passive joint set with one end mounted to an upper end of the vertical lifting joint, for manually setting an initial pose of the endoscope; an active joint set mounted to another end of the passive joint set, for adjusting pose control of the endoscope intra-operatively; and a compliant endoscope holder mountable to an end-effector of the active joint set, which passively changes to a compliant state upon an external force exceeding a threshold being applied to an endoscopic lens held by the compliant endoscope holder.

  • Patent number: 11094134
Abstract: Exemplary systems and methods are directed to generating synthetic data for computer vision. A processing device generates a synthetic three-dimensional (3D) image of an object. A background image is selected, and a composite image is generated by combining the 3D image of the object and the background image. The processing device simulates: reflection or emission of at least one type of radiant energy from the surface of the object and/or the background according to a set of parameters associated with at least one of the object and the background image; and a reflectance or emittance measurement of the at least one type of radiant energy from the surface of the object by a sensor device configured for detecting the at least one type of radiant energy. The processing device generates a plurality of two-dimensional (2D) simulated images of different perspectives of the object based on simulation data.

  • Patent number: 10909705
Abstract: A computer-implemented method for assessing an image sentiment. The method can include receiving an image to identify a region of interest in the image; determining an image sentiment value associated with the image based on the region of interest, or a classification of the image; and displaying an indication of the image sentiment value with a spatial (e.g. geographical) location.
