  • Patent number: 12041875
Abstract: A flexible mower deck includes a center deck with a plurality of belt driven pulleys for rotating a plurality of rotary cutting blades under the center deck. A wing deck is pivotably attached to each of the first and second ends. A motor on each wing deck rotates a rotary cutting blade by actuating a switch in an operator station to pivot each wing deck to a mowing position.

  • Patent number: 10005358
Abstract: A zero turning radius mower has an internal combustion engine mounted transversely on a pair of longitudinal frame members behind an operator seat and a pair of rear drive wheels. The engine rotates a flywheel on a horizontal axis perpendicular to the longitudinal frame members. A gearbox is mounted to one of the longitudinal frame members, with a horizontal input shaft driven by the engine and a vertical output shaft engaging one or more rubber belts. The same rubber belts drive a pair hydrostatic transmissions for the pair of rear drive wheels and a plurality of rotary mower blades under a mower deck.

  • Patent number: 9981545
Abstract: A zero turning radius mower radiator mounting structure having inclined deflectors extending upwardly from the radiator. The inclined deflectors slide on a cross member extending horizontally across the roll over protection system if the mower is in a rollover position. The inclined deflectors push the radiator rearwardly from the roll over protection system and disengage the radiator from first and second pairs of isolators.

  • Patent number: 7000868
Abstract: A multiple thread dispenser which serves as both a portable container for many spools of thread and a dispenser of multiple strands of thread. The container dispenses thread for use with a sewing machine. The spools of thread are stored in an array of pockets which are relieved for easy access to the spools. Multiple strands of thread dispense from a top row of pockets. A base plate stabilizes the container while dispensing thread to a sewing machine. The base plate can be stored within the container during transport. The base plate has a pocket on the bottom of the base plate for printed material that can be viewed through a semi-transparent lid when the base plate is in its stored position.

  • Patent number: 5101745
Abstract: An apparatus and method is disclcosed for cultivating soil and turf by utilization of pressurized liquid injected into the soil and turf. A roller assembly (33) is provided for applying mechanical pressure to the turf after cultivation. Further, a means for setting a first speed in a transport mode and a second speed in a cultivating mode is provided. The apparatus is designed to be bidirectional to allow the apparatus to be used in both a forward and reverse direction. The flow of the pressurized liquid is controlled to be at intervals of from about 0.010 to 0.065 seconds and at pressures from about 2,300 psi to about 5,500 psi through nozzles having diameters of from about 0.033 to about 0.090 inches. The apparatus (10) utilizes a water hammer effect to effect the flow of pressurized liquid out of the nozzles 55 and has found a relationship in the pressure and pounds per square inch of the cross-sectional area of the bore of the manifold to the accumulated area of the output ports of the nozzles.
