  • Patent number: 11662994
Abstract: A system and method for managing a population of devices and in particular, software updates and version control of applications across the population includes permitting a first device to receive an update from a publisher and generating an update manifest that is propagated to other devices in the population. Applications within a population of devices are selectively disabled and enabled to prevent multiple update versions of the same application across the population.
    Type: Grant

  • Patent number: 7488115
Abstract: The invention relates to a connector for creating an optical waveguide connector-in connection for an optical waveguide cable containing an optical waveguide, said connector comprising a housing, a ferrule holder arranged in the housing, and a locking device arranged outside the housing, on a narrow side thereof. The inventive connector has a housing that has the outer shape of an RJ-45 connector, is open on the front side and the rear side thereof, and has an inner region surrounded by the narrow sides extending parallel to the longitudinal axis of the connector-in connection, and a catch spring used as a locking device for engaging in a coupling, the catch spring being elastically connected to the housing. Ferrule holders for each of the optical waveguides guided into the inner region through the rear side of the housing are arranged in the inner region, each ferrule holder being respectively provided with a recess for a coupling ferrule on the side thereof facing the front side of the housing.

  • Patent number: 6572276
Abstract: A plug for light wave conductors or photo-conductors with a plug housing into a rear end of which a photo-conductor bundle with at least two photo-conductor fibers is introduced, and from an oppositely lying front end of which there emerge ferrules, into which, in each case, one of the photo-conductor fibers is introduced. The ferrules are supported in a ferrule housing which is installed in a plug housing correspondingly formed for the reception of the ferrule housing. The ferrules are movable, spring-loaded in their axial direction, in which the plug is intended for being plugged together with a coupling housing that receives this plug. The ferrule housing comprises a core housing and a core interior housing, which are designed for the reception of two ferrules. The ferrules are supported in the core housing. Front ends of the ferrules extend forward through the core housing and rear ends of the ferrules extend into the core interior housing.

  • Patent number: 5607652
Abstract: The invention provides a transportable reaction chamber for continuous biological and chemical decontamination of articles by means of a mixture of hot air and steam. The reaction chamber has a tunnel shaped reaction section through which the contaminated articles are transported on a conveyor and through which a mixture of decontaminant gases is circulated. An exhaust blower situated at an end of the reaction section, and transverse flow units along its length, provide both transverse and longitudinal gas flow in the reaction section.
