  • Publication number: 20120109723
Abstract: A group management system for managing credit transactions for groups of lenders, borrowers, and/or referencers is described. The system allows the formation of credit groups comprised of one or more of lenders, borrowers, and/or referencers. The system monitors group performance and provides rewards and incentives when milestones are reached. When the group is underperforming, the system allows modification of group paramaters to improve performance. In one embodiment, the system tracks group metrics and provides information to aid in achieving an optimal group configuration.

  • Publication number: 20040117820
Abstract: A streaming portal is provided with at least one display frame for playback of multimedia information of a program offered by an information provider whereby the multimedia information is made available for the streaming portal as multimedia data and the multimedia data is available for playback as a group of data streams. The multimedia data is divided into a group of streaming units in accordance with the configuration data determined from the program whereby the streaming unit is marked with an identifier that identifies the type of multimedia data contained in the streaming unit and the streaming unit is played back as a data stream in a display frame that identifies the information provider and preferably also the type. The multimedia data are played back on the streaming portal in a display frame that has been designed to play back all the data and that identifies the information provider.

  • Patent number: 4987742
Abstract: A process is disclosed whereby the recovery of process heat contained in NOx gases which have been generated by the combustion of ammonia in the ammonia oxidation step of a nitric acid production process is improved and whereby the recovery of the process heat takes place at a low temperature range. The process involves using process heat contained in NOx gases to evaporate and superheat liquid ammonia which is circulated in a separate loop, then expanding the superheated ammonia in a turbine to generate mechanical energy and subsequently pressurizing, reevaporating and resuperheating the ammonia.

  • Patent number: 4957720
Abstract: A process for the generation of mechanical energy in the ammonia oxidation step of process for the production of nitric acid is disclosed, whereby the utilization of process heat is improved, particularly the exploitation of heat contained in NO.sub.x gases and including process heat recovered at low temperature. The process involves evaporating and superheating liquid ammonia upstream of the oxidation step, at a pressure which is a multiple of the pressure required for the combustion, using the process heat of the NO.sub.x gases formed during the the combustion and then expanding the superheated ammonia in a turbine, thus generating mechanical energy.
