    Abstract: The present disclosure pertains to a system configured to enhance deep sleep in a subject during positive airway pressure therapy. A pressure generator is configured to generate a pressurized flow of breathable gas for delivery to an airway of the subject. Sensors are configured to generate output signals conveying information related to breathing of the subject. One or more hardware processors are configured to cause the pressure generator to generate the pressurized flow of breathable gas in accordance with a positive airway pressure therapy regime based on the information in the output signals; determine sleep stages of the subject based on the information in the output signals; and responsive to the sleep stages indicating the subject is in deep sleep, cause the pressure generator to adjust the pressurized flow of breathable gas to deliver a stimulus to the subject, the stimulus configured to enhance deep sleep in the subject.

The wires are connectable to the DUT for receiving the voltage signals. The probe further includes a second probe connection circuit located at a second end of the probe body, and including transmission line connectors coupled to the signal transmission lines, respectively, and a bent portion of the flexible substrate between the probe body and the transmission line connectors. The bent portion enables the transmission line connectors to exit the probe substantially axially, relative to the longitudinal length of the probe body.

    Abstract: A vent assembly for use with a respiratory mask of the type used in CPAP treatment includes a porous disk portion that is attached to a biasing member such that the disk portion is maintained in a substantially sealed position against a main vent to minimize airflow through at least one side vent of the vent assembly. Debris build-up on the disk portion can cause the biasing member to deflect to provide an additional path for airflow through the at least one side vent. In another embodiment, the vent assembly can also include an anti-asphyxia feature to provide an airflow path from the environment to the user. An oxygen diverter valve may be disposed between the breathing apparatus flow generator and an oxygen injection port.
