  • Publication number: 20240022429
Abstract: In validating a new validator for a proof-of-origin blockchain, an announce message is received including: a unique tag (T) uniquely identifying one fixed communication line of a subscriber of a fixed communication operator; a peer identifier (peer@) of the new validator; an identifier of an authorised signer, and a cryptographic signature (S2) of the authorised signer over at least the unique tag (T) and the peer identifier (peer@); validity of the announce message is verified, including checking from the PoO blockchain that the authorised signer is registered there as an authorised signer and checking the cryptographic signature (S2) of the authorised signer in the announce message. If each checking of the verifying is positive, then accepting the new validator for the PoO blockchain and mapping in the PoO blockchain the unique tag with at least the peer identifier, otherwise refusing the new validator.

  • Patent number: 9438394
Abstract: In an embodiment the method includes, at a transmit side, grouping carriers into carrier groups, and selecting a group constellation diagram for modulation of the carriers of a given carrier group. The selected group constellation diagram is built as a hierarchical sum of I super-imposed constellations vectors having predefined decreasing powers with the P strongest and the Q weakest constellation vectors being omitted. The carriers of the carrier group are modulated by means of the selected group constellation diagram, and P and/or Q parameters per carrier group and per multi-carrier data symbol are adjusted.

  • Publication number: 20140044247
Abstract: A network includes an access link and a local area link. The access link and the local area link are interferingly coupled. A method for performing spectrum management in view of a constraint in the network includes quantifying interference between the access link and the local area link, determining a first spectral configuration for a first transmitter operating over the access link, and determining a second spectral configuration for a second transmitter operating over the local area link. The determining of the first spectral configuration and the determining of the second spectral configuration are performed such that the respective achievable channel capacities of the access link and the local area link meet the constraint.

  • Publication number: 20100302961
Abstract: A method for resolving network contention in a wireless network having a plurality of communication devices is disclosed. In one aspect, the method includes determining a set of initial values of at least three parameters of a first device of the plurality, at least one of the at least three parameters being indicative of the transmit power of that first device. The method further includes determining, given the set of initial values, a gain measure obtainable by changing the set of initial values of the at least three parameters into a set of updated values, the gain measure taking into account the parameter indicative of the transmit power. The method further includes deciding according to the determined gain measure on using the set of updated values of the at least three parameters for the first device. Other inventive aspects relate to systems and software stored on computer readable media.
