Abstract: A method of fabricating on a semiconductor substrate bifacial tandem solar cells with semiconductor subcells having a lower bandgap than the substrate bandgap on one side of the substrate and with subcells having a higher bandgap than the substrate on the other including, first, growing a lower bandgap subcell on one substrate side that uses only the same periodic table group V material in the dislocation-reducing grading layers and bottom subcells as is present in the substrate and after the initial growth is complete and then flipping the substrate and growing the higher bandgap subcells on the opposite substrate side which can be of different group V material.

The system further includes a master device including a communications module operable to address a first communication to a selected slave device using the permanent device identifier associated with the selected slave device, wherein the first communication includes a local identifier assigned to the selected slave device, the assigned local identifier does not match any other local identifier assigned to any other slave device implanted in the human body, and subsequent communications are addressed to the selected slave device using the assigned local identifier.

Abstract: System and method for delivering mobile RSS content is described. The system, upon receiving a URL or feature list from a user of a feature phone, retrieves the target Web page and delivers to the feature phone Web content that is comparable to that which the user would enjoy at a desktop computer. In particular, the system of the present invention examines the target Web page to determine a particular page type and corresponding page strategy to apply. Based on the page strategy employed, the system may return to the user the content that they actually wanted from the target Web page. In this manner, the user need not purchase an expensive, high-end “smart phone” (e.g., Treo or the like) in order to retrieve Web content. The invention is particularly applicable in regions where high-end mobile devices are not practical (e.g., developing countries).

Abstract: A water recirculating system for use in producing fish. The water recirculating system includes a fish raising tank that provides an environment for fish to grow and a supply system to deliver contaminated water from the fish raising tank to a filtration system. The filtration system includes a chamber with a hydraulic loading area that is divided into a plurality of cells with smaller hydraulic loading areas. Filter media is positioned in each cell to filter the contaminated water received from the fish raising tank. A delivery system returns the filtered water back to the fish raising tank.
