  • Patent number: 10178888
Abstract: A head restraint system having a rate sensitive device to connect a head restraint to a body of a user. The head restraint system includes a first connector to connect to the head of a user, a second connector connected to the first connector and to a body of the user, wherein one of the first connector and the second connector includes a rate sensitive (RS) device, wherein the first connector and the second connector are configured to restrain the user's head to the user's body at high speed motion of the user's head relative to the user's body and otherwise not restrain the user's head.

  • Patent number: 9222754
Abstract: A precision guided firearm (PGF) includes a trigger assembly and an optical device coupled to the trigger assembly. The optical device includes an optical sensor configured to capture video of a view area and includes at least one motion sensor. The optical device is configured to process video frames of the video to determine a distance between an aim point of the PGF and a selected location on a target and to determine a trajectory of the aim point based on the video frames and motion data from the at least one motion sensor.

  • Patent number: 9127907
Abstract: A precision guided firearm (PGF) includes a trigger assembly and an optical device coupled to the trigger assembly. The optical device is to predict a time when an aim point of the PGF is less than a programmable threshold distance from a selected location on a target and to control the trigger assembly to discharge the PGF at the time.

  • Patent number: 6051892
Abstract: A micro hydroelectric power conversion system for supplying power to and driving an electrical system. The system includes first and second storage tanks each including a base side and a top side and positioned in a stacked relationship with each other such that the top side of the second storage tank faces the base side of the first storage tank. A pipeline connects the base of the first storage tank to the top side of the second storage tank and a penstock including a wheel and an electrical generator connected to the wheel is connected to the pipeline. A rechargeable power supply is connected to receive power from the electrical generator for storing the received power and selectively supplying the received power to the electrical system being driven. A return pipe is connected between the base side of the second storage tank and the top side of the first storage tank and a fluid is positioned within the system.
