  • Publication number: 20250150464
Abstract: This disclosure describes techniques for maintaining and using a warehouse of data about potential or actual cyberattack threats for an industry. In one example, this disclosure describes a method that includes outputting, by a computing system operated by a first entity and to a data warehouse, information about activity within a first network operated by the first entity; receiving, by the computing system and from the data warehouse, information about attributes of a peer attack directed to a second network operated by a second entity, wherein the first entity and the second entity may be marketplace competitors; applying, by the computing system, a model to identify a network asset included within the first network that is vulnerable to an attack having the attributes of the peer attack; and outputting, by the computing system and to the network asset, a control signal to modify the operation of the network asset.

  • Publication number: 20200103418
Abstract: The present invention provides diagnostic and therapeutic methods and compositions for treating a patient suffering from an interleukin-1 receptor-associated kinase 4 (IRAK4)-mediated disorder or condition, such as an immune disorder (e.g., systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE)) or an inflammatory disorder (e.g., asthma). The invention provides diagnostic methods of monitoring the response of a patient having an IRAK4-mediated disorder or condition to treatment including an IRAK4 pathway inhibitor, methods of identifying a patient having an IRAK4-mediated disorder or condition who may benefit from treatment including an IRAK4 pathway inhibitor, and methods of selecting a therapy for a patient having an IRAK4-mediated disorder or condition based on the expression level of one or more IRAK4 biomarkers (e.g., one or more genes set forth in Table 1). Related therapeutic methods and compositions (e.g., diagnostic kits) are also provided.

  • Patent number: 9403176
Abstract: A stream redirecting device for a sprinkler includes a shell-shaped body having a generally semi-circular shape in plan, with opposite inlet and outlet side edges. The body extends outwardly and upwardly from a base at a lower end and then upwardly and inwardly to a distal, arcuate edge at an upper end. An inside surface of the shell-shaped body is formed with a plurality of grooves between the inlet side edge and the outlet side edge, extending in a generally radial direction with entry ends adjacent the base and exit ends at the distal, arcuate edge. The grooves are formed with circumferential exit angles that vary substantially uniformly in opposite directions from a center one of the plurality of grooves to first and last of the plurality of grooves at the opposite inlet and outlet side edges, respectively.

  • Patent number: 8807517
Abstract: A rotary pinch valve includes a valve body having an inlet and an outlet; the valve body supporting a pinch tube and a pair of pivotally mounted pinch arms, the pinch tube forming part of an axial flowpath from said inlet to said outlet. A valve actuator dial is received on the valve body and formed with a pair of internal cam lobes engageable, respectively, with cam follower surfaces on each of the pair of pivotally mounted pinch arms upon rotation of the valve actuator dial to pivot the pair of pinch arms from an open position out of engagement with the pinch tube to a closed position where the pinch arms engage and close the pinch tube to thereby shut off flow through the valve body.
