  • Publication number: 20200359866
Abstract: A vacuum pump lid that can be applied to any cannister is disclosed. The lid integrates with the closure system of the cannister, whether it be by threads, push or snap closures, or the like. With the pumping of a button on the top of the lid, a pliable valve pin operates to remove a small amount of air from the cannister to achieve a vacuum seal. The seal is released when the lid is removed. The simple solution uses few moving parts to achieve the results, making it sturdy and faster to produce.

  • Patent number: 9525724
Abstract: A method and apparatus to help manage sequential processing of messages. When a layer of a protocol stack in a computing device encounters a need to transmit two or more messages in a particular sequence, the layer generates and pass to a next layer of the stack a composite message defining the two or more messages together, rather than sending the messages one by one to the next layer. With this process, the combination of the two or more messages may thus pass between and/or through layers of the stack, and a layer of the stack receiving the combination may then extract the messages individually from the combination and output the extracted messages in sequence as desired.

  • Patent number: 8497071
Abstract: Disclosed herein are methods and materials for isolating and identifying T cell receptors from single cells. In some embodiments, genomic DNA from a single T cell is isolated using whole genome amplification (WGA). A series of PCR reactions is carried out to enrich the genomic template for sequences encoding the TCR alpha and beta chains, and then to isolate the sequences encoding the TCR alpha and beta chains.

  • Patent number: 8038100
Abstract: A paneled partition assembly is designed to close an opening and collapses to uncover the opening by a movement of at least one panel that initiates the rotation and translation of at least one other panel. When the paneled partition assembly is in a closed or extended position, the plurality of panels covers the opening regardless of the opening's shape, size, or irregularity. When the paneled partition assembly is in an open or retracted position, the plurality of panels collapse to a smaller configuration. In moving between the extended and retracted positions, the panels rotate and translate fluidly with minimum user interaction.

  • Patent number: 7963231
Abstract: A folding table and support frame assembly is disclosed. The table comprises two planar portions connected by a hinging member. One of the planar portions is coupled to a support frame such that the folded table can be moved into a stowed position within the support frame assembly. The planar portions comprise a proximal portion or inner member and a distal portion or outer member. The proximal portion and distal portion are connected to one another by the hinging member or middle member. The hinging member enables the rotation of the distal portion into a folded relationship upon the proximal portion. When the two planar portions are folded, they provide a smaller table surface in a half-open or partially extended position. When the two planar portions are opened along the hinging member, the planar portions and the hinging member provide a larger contiguous table in the fully extended position.

  • Patent number: 7912204
Abstract: A route manager queries a new network element to identify egress routes coupled to the network element and to identify external nodes coupled to the egress routes. The route manager queries a database with identifiers for the external nodes to identify associated telephone numbers. For each telephone number associated with an external node, the route manager associates the telephone number with the egress routes coupled to the external node and with the new network element. The route manager receives a call request to one of the telephone numbers, and in response, selects the new network element and one of the egress routes associated with the telephone number.
