  • Patent number: 10043493
Abstract: A drive method and system for an LED display panel. The method comprises: converting an HDMI/DVI video signal into an RGB signal; dividing the RGB signal into N independent code streams and re-ranking same; and periodically switching a direct current provided to an LED display module (30) at least between a first current I1 and a second current I2. The system comprises an FPGA controller (20), and a video signal decoder (10), a first external memory (41), a second external memory (42) and an LED display module (30) which are respectively connected to the FPGA controller (20). The FPGA controller (20) comprises N LED drive modules (231-23N) which are connected in parallel. The drive method and system can enhance the luminous efficacy of an LED, and can also conduct linear dimming on the LED.

  • Publication number: 20070083556
Abstract: A method for managing a group of owned and for-purchase media items in response to a single user action. The method treats the owned media items and the for-purchase media items similarly with respect to the user's interaction with them, facilitating a user paradigm-shift from thinking about two stores of media items to a single store of media items available for use. A media item grouping generic to both types of media items is provided, permitting sharing of media item collections between users having different access rights with respect to the media items.

  • Publication number: 20060010576
Abstract: A removable garment patch which protects the thigh portion of a pants leg. The patch has an inner surface which is secured to the thigh portion of pants, and an outer surface which provides a location that the wearer can wipe with the wwearer's hands. The wearer can remove the garment patch prior to leaving the work site. The garment patch can be a single patch, or alternatively, it can be distributed in bulk quantities, such as multiple patches attached together on a roll of patches. The garment patch can be secured to the thigh portion of the pants prior to the initiation of work. The garment patch should be secured to the thigh portion of the pants prior to beginning work activities. At the end of work activities, or at the wwearer'selection, the patch can be removed. Alternative embodiments provide discrete patches or rolls of patches which can be dispensed as needed.
