  • Publication number: 20240125972
Abstract: The disclosure includes systems and methods for identifying, using one or more processors, a plurality of properties, including the first set of properties that experienced hail damage and the second set of properties that did not experience hail damage; determining, using the one or more processors, a location and the first set of features for each property in the plurality of properties; training, using the one or more processors, a first damage frequency model; and validating, using the one or more processors, the first damage frequency model.

  • Publication number: 20240125971
Abstract: The disclosure includes systems and methods for receiving a location; determine a hail size associated with the location using a first hail model; determine a hail frequency associated with the location using a first hail frequency model; obtain first feature data associated with the location, the first feature data including the hail size associated with the location, the hail frequency associated with the location, and data describing a first set of features at the location; determine a damage frequency associated with the location by applying a first damage frequency model to the first feature data; obtain second feature data associated with the location, the second feature data including data describing a second set of features at the location; and determine a damage severity associated with the location by applying a first damage severity model to the second feature data.

  • Publication number: 20240127348
Abstract: The disclosure includes systems and methods for identifying, using one or more processors, a set of properties that experienced hail damage; determining, using the one or more processors, a first set of features associated with each property in the set of properties, the first set of features including one or more hail features at a location of the property, one or more property features describing an associated property, and one or more damage values; training, using the one or more processors, a first damage severity model; and validating, using the one or more processors, the first damage severity model.

  • Publication number: 20220180016
Abstract: The disclosure includes a system and method for determining a three-dimensional (3D) structure from an image including receiving, using one or more processors, a digital surface model (DSM) image; receiving, using the one or more processors, a non-DSM image; outlining, using the one or more processors, a structure in the non-DSM image; and determining, using the one or more processors, a set of features based on the DSM image.

  • Publication number: 20220051344
Abstract: The disclosure includes a system and method for determining climate risk using artificial intelligence including receiving a location of a property from a user; obtaining property data associated with the property, wherein the property data includes image data of the property; determining, using a first climate risk model associated with a first climate risk, a first score associated with the property, the first scores representing a first climate risk to the property; and determining, using a second climate risk model, a second score associated with the property; presenting the first score representing the first climate risk to the property and the second score associated with the property to the user.

  • Publication number: 20170076304
Abstract: Methods and systems are disclosed for identifying consumers likely to adopt a particular clean energy solution (e.g. solar solutions, such as rooftop panels or community solar offerings; electric battery storage; an electric vehicle; electric vehicle charging infrastructure; energy efficient appliances; etc.), which in some instances includes satellite image analysis of buildings used by consumers. In some cases, the methods can include using GIS data (e.g., LiDAR 3D point cloud data) to model roof facet surfaces and the amount of solar energy received by such surfaces. The methods can also include evaluating additional consumer-related data to predict consumers likely to adopt clean energy solutions. In other implementations, methods and systems are described for remotely sizing a particular clean energy solution based upon a user's submission of a particular address. Additional uses of energy-related data are also described.
