  • Publication number: 20190251218
Abstract: A method for performing H-spline compatible isogeometric analysis (IGA) on a geometric object, the method being performed on a computer device having a memory, the method including the steps of creating an analysis suitable geometry (ASG) using H-splines from the geometric object, the geometric object being represented by H-splines, storing the analysis suitable geometry (ASG) in the memory, and performing the H-spline compatible IGA on the ASG stored in the memory of the computer device to generate the data the represents a stiffness matrix and a force vector of the H-spline compatible IGA.

  • Patent number: 10339226
Abstract: A method for creating a watertight boundary between two graphical elements including the steps of displaying a first surface having a first shape and a second surface having a second shape on the display, an open space existing between the first surface and the second surface, defining a first region of the first surface, and defining a second region of the second surface, and modifying the first surface to a modified first surface such that the first region matches with the second region and the modified first surface and the second surface form a watertight connection at a modified first region and the second region, the step of modifying including geometrically matching the first region of the first surface with the second region of the second surface to establish the modified first region.

  • Publication number: 20190155986
Abstract: A method for generating a data structure to digitally represent a geometrical object based on H-splines, the method being performed on a computer device having a data processor and memory, the method including the steps of creating a first data structure and storing a plurality of control points and higher order derivatives that define the geometrical object in a parameter domain using the H-splines in the first data structure of the memory, creating a second data structure and storing coordinate data that define the geometrical object as a coordinate data model in the second data structure of the memory, and creating and storing a connectivity array in the memory that links the plurality of control points of the parameter domain to the coordinate data of the coordinate data model.

  • Publication number: 20120116703
Abstract: The present invention discloses a method and an apparatus to compute a complex wavefield, referred to as the object wave o, by means of measuring the intensity signal resulting from the interference of the said object wave with a second wave termed the reference wave. The second wave r is assumed to have some non-vanishing mutual coherence with the said object wave o. The reference wave can be obtained from a source or from the object wave itself. The wave may be emitted from sources of variable degree of coherence and can be scattered waves, but also light-emitting molecules, matter waves such as electron beams or acoustical sources. The disclosed method relates to the said “non-linear method” (NLM). The innovation resides in the fact that the NLM improves considerably the bandwidth of the wavefront reconstructed from off-axis interferograms and holograms obtained in a single shot. The advantage is the significant improvement of the resolution of the images obtained from the reconstructed wavefront, i.e.
