    Abstract: A quick release bicycle pedal. The quick release mechanism operates by pressing button 24 which moves locking shaft 20 to allow balls 18 to fit into recesses 22. Thereby, allowing pedal 10 and shaft 12 to be quickly and easily removed from adaptor 16 which is threaded into bike pedal crank shaft 14.
