    Abstract: The invention relates to an improved helmet with an outer protective shell having a forward-facing portion and a rearward-facing portion and an inner absorbent shell having a forward-facing portion and a rearward-facing portion. The helmet also has a visor that is removably attachable to the forward-facing portion and the rearward-facing portion of the outer protective shell, the inner absorbent shell, or a combination of both the outer protective shell and the inner absorbent shell, such that it can quickly and easily attach and detach from the forward-facing position on the front portion of the helmet to the backward-facing position on the rear portion of the helmet.
