    Abstract: An instrument for generating a percussive audio sound for resonation within an individual's mouth cavity. The inventive device includes a spoon member having a spoon head positionable proximal to the mouth of the individual. A hammer assembly is coupled to the spoon member and positioned so as to strike a back surface of the spoon to generate a percussive audio sound directed into the individual's mouth. An alteration of the volume of the individual's mouth can then be made to manipulate the tone of the sound generated by the device.
