  • Patent number: 11760257
Abstract: A mount for inverted light has a back, two spaced apart feet beneath the back, two tabs outwardly from the back, each tab having two pieces, an arcuate shroud opposite the back and an adjustment mechanism for the tabs. Opposite the back, the feet and tabs have a low friction surface limiting engagement of the mount with door glass. The adjustment mechanism includes knobs turning rack pinion gearing and knobs ratcheting one piece of a tab outwardly from the other. Beneath the shroud, the mount has two rests that receive a light attached to them aimed downward from the shroud. • Patent number: 10514236
Abstract: A detachable shield for tactical equipment box has a rectangular form, an outer surface and an opposite inner surface, a long first edge and a second edge, at least two hinges upon the first edge that cooperate with second hinges mounted to a box, a second lock component that cooperates with a prime lock component mounted to a box opposite the second hinges, and a handle joined to the inner surface. The first hinges, handle, and second lock component join to the shield without fracturing it. The first hinges separate from the second hinges so that a law enforcement officer can take the shield from the box for use as protection from projectiles. In an alternate embodiment, the shield pivotally connects to a top plate upon the box with lips that overlap the front and sides in a return.

  • Patent number: 10155473
Abstract: A rear window security grid and light system has a frame, a grid within it, cross units forming the grid, and a left member and a right member in each cross unit. The grid has a primary cross unit centered upon the frame. Upon each left member and each right member, the invention has at least one light emitting diode, or LED. The LED operate from the power supply of a vehicle or a separate battery. The LED provide at least three patterns: left chevron, right chevron, and a letter X. Each left member has an upper portion and a lower portion and each right member has an upper portion and a lower portion with LED upon each portion. The controls allow for selection of the chevron's direction, interval speed to simulate motion, and operation of the letter X upon each cross unit.

  • Patent number: 8204245
Abstract: A sound projecting bumper may include a vehicle bumper configured to be attached to a vehicle, the bumper comprising a plurality of uprights and at least one generally horizontal member, the bumper further comprising a horn for emitting sound, the horn comprising a driver, a cone, a speaker and a diaphragm for producing the sound, and wiring to connect the bumper device to the vehicle's electrical system. The horn may be configured to focus sound particularly forward of the vehicle. The driver may be attached to one of the uprights, and the bumper may include a second driver attached to a second one of the uprights. The horn may be generally aligned with one of the uprights, or the horn may be formed in a generally horizontal member. • Patent number: 6595669
Abstract: The device includes a visible light source and a transmissive/reflective layer on a vehicle. The layer is between the source and an observer and transmits emergency warning signals of various colors to the observer. In addition, the layer reflects ambient light so that when the light source is not illuminated the appearance of the device is changed and the emergency warning colors, if any, of the device are masked.

  • Patent number: 5852907
Abstract: A form tie for interlocking parallel and spaced foam panels. The tie is formed of an elongate planar strap having a lattice arrangement of openings for flow of concrete. Each of the opposite ends of the strap have an end plate and an inside plate spaced to bracket a corner of a foam form panel with each of the plates extending in a perpendicular or "Y" axis direction to the longitudinal or "X" axis of the strap. Each of the end portions forming the bracket also has vane shelves extending between the end and inside plates in a "Z" axis direction to the strap for support of the foam form panel corner. "U" shaped holders in the edges of the strap and overcenter tabs in the openings provide retainers to hold reinforcement bars, commonly termed rebar. The strap is preferably formed of a heavy gauge polypropylene.
