  • Publication number: 20250137901
Abstract: The present disclosure involves continuous measurement of the likelihood of a semiconductor-process chemical to form wafer defects composed primarily of particle-precursor material. Specifically, this disclosure details methods to estimate the effects of terminal size and contact angle for droplets remaining on a wafer following a spin-dry process. In some examples, the methods involve tuning a liquid-to-aerosol-based measurement device to correlate the measurement value with the tendency of a chemical to form such defects.

  • Patent number: 12152503
Abstract: A hybrid three-layer system is presented. The hybrid three-layer system includes a two-layer composite system and an additively manufactured third layer comprising a lattice structure. The composite layer system includes a metallic substrate, a structured surface, and a thermal protection system. The structured surface may be additively manufactured onto the metallic substrate and includes structured surface features formed to project above the metallic substrate. Each of the structured surface features are separated from adjacent structured surface features by grooves. The thermal protection coating may be thermally sprayed onto the structured surface and is bonded to each of the structured surface features. The lattice structure is in contact with a surface of the metallic substrate of the composite layer system.

  • Publication number: 20240234923
Abstract: A system and method for selectively charging removable batteries used for powering a fleet of local use vehicles may include placing and selectively charging batteries in a charging repository. Batteries are charged to an at least threshold charge level at which the batteries may be used to power a vehicle in a duty cycle. Charging can be managed based on at least one of fleet battery replacement needs and electrical cost optimization. The repository includes at least one rack in which batteries may be charged and a robotic device for moving batteries back and forth between the rack and the vehicles.
