  • Publication number: 20240385066
Abstract: Described herein are techniques to enable a mobile device to perform multi-source estimation of an altitude for a location. A baseline altitude may be determined at ground level for a location and used to calibrate a barometric pressure sensor on the mobile device. The calibrated barometric pressure sensor can then estimate changes in altitude relative to ground level based on detected pressure differentials, allowing a relative altitude to ground to be determined. Baseline calibration for the barometric sensor calibration can be performed to determine an ambient ground-level barometric pressure.

  • Publication number: 20240388643
Abstract: A wireless transmit/receive unit (WTRU) may send a discovery request to a first edge enabler server (EES) instance to obtain edge application server (EAS) information. The WTRU may receive a discovery response from the first EES instance. The discovery response may indicate a list of EAS information and/or registrar EES information for one or more EAS instances in the list of EAS information. The WTRU may select an EAS instance based on one or more of the list of EAS information or the registrar EES information for the one or more EAS instances. • Publication number: 20240382599
Abstract: The present invention relates to bifunctional compounds, which find utility to degrade and (inhibit) TBK1. In particular, the present invention is directed to compounds, which contain on one end an E3 ubiquitin ligase binding moiety which binds to an E3 ubiquitin ligase and on the other end a moiety which binds TBK1 such that TBK1 is placed in proximity to the ubiquitin ligase to effect degradation (and inhibition) of TBK1. The present invention exhibits a broad range of pharmacological activities associated with compounds according to the present invention, consistent with the degradation/inhibition of TBK1.

  • Patent number: 12150381
Abstract: Triazabicylodecene can effectively n-dope a variety of organic semiconductors, including PCBM, thus increasing in-plane conductivities. We synthesized a series of TBD-based n-dopants via an N-alkylation reaction and studied the effect of various alkyl chains on the physical and device properties of the dopants. Combining two TBD moieties on a long alky chain gave a solid dopant, 2TBD-C10, with high thermal stability above 250° C. PCBM films doped by 2TBD-C10 were the most tolerant to thermal annealing and reached in-plane conductivities of 6.5×10?2 S/cm. Furthermore, incorporating 2TBD-C10 doped PCBM as the electron transport layer (ETL) in methylammonium lead triiodide (MAPbI3) based photovoltaics led to a 23% increase in performance, from 11.8% to 14.5% PCE.

  • Patent number: 12149106
Abstract: An indexed sequence of bits in a buffer is allocated for tracking a battery charging state. The indexed sequence of bits has a first number of bits. A battery voltage of a rechargeable battery is sampled at a sampling rate. For each sampled battery voltage, the battery voltage is compared with a voltage threshold. A next bit position in the indexed sequence of bits is identified. In accordance with a determination that a comparison result is true, a predefined first value is added to the next bit position. A second number of bits that are filled with the predefined first value is determined. A ratio between the second number and the first number is also determined. In accordance with a determination that the ratio exceeds a threshold step-down ratio, a battery charge voltage is stepped down. The rechargeable battery is charged to a step-down voltage.

  • Patent number: 12135347
Abstract: The present invention provides a method for detecting and adjusting failed back-drills in PCBs in the process of fabricating a PCB so that the failed back-drill can be screened out or repaired. This is accomplished, by after detecting poor back drills in a PCB, measuring the actual thickness of each PCB board. Next, the measured actual thickness of each PCB board is compared with .the theoretical thickness of each PCB board. The back drill depth for each area of the PCB board is then adjusted for its theoretical thickness and percent variation from the measured thickness to adjust the poor back drill.
