At least two separately controllable transport paths for pressureless container transport, each including at least one single-track container buffer, are provided downstream of a filling machine, and the transport paths can, according to requirements, flexibly be charged with containers having a round or non-round cross-section and in the event of a production failure in one of the transport paths at least the other transport path can still be used for production.
