  • Publication number: 20240427668
Abstract: Aspects of this disclosure implement a power recovery method without user intervention to drain all power rails of a non-booting information handling system and restoring power after a full drain sequence has been completed. A method may include determining, by a management circuit, a failure occurs preventing handoff from a basic input/output system (BIOS) to an operating system; based on determining the failure occurs: disconnecting, by the management circuit of the information handling system, one or more active power sources and one or more real-time clock (RTC) power sources; and after a predetermined delay following disconnecting: re-connecting, by the management circuit of the information handling system, the at least one of the one or more active power sources or the one or more real-time clock (RTC) power sources; and booting the information handling system. Other aspects are also disclosed.

  • Patent number: 12156795
Abstract: A substantially cylindrical, or tubular, garment structure can be provided using a three-dimensional or circular knitting machine, using a mold, or using an additive manufacturing process. A unit segment of the garment structure can include two waistband regions at opposite end faces of the cylindrical garment structure, and each of the waistband regions can correspond to a different one of two nested articles. Each of the two nested articles can be converted into a separate and distinct brief-style absorbent underwear assembly. In an example, a waistband region and body panel region of an absorbent underwear product can be formed using the same knitted material in a continuous, three-dimensional knitting process.

  • Publication number: 20240362276
Abstract: A document management system can include an artificial intelligence-based document manager that can perform one or more predictive operations based on characteristics of a user, a document, a user account, or historical document activity. For instance, the document management system can apply a machine-learning model to determine how long an expiring agreement document is likely to take to renegotiate and can prompt a user to begin the renegotiation process in advance. The document management system can detect a change to language in a particular clause type and can prompt a user to update other documents that include the clause type to include the change. The document management system can determine a type of a document being worked on and can identify one or more actions that a corresponding user may want to take using a machine-learning model trained on similar documents and similar users.

  • Publication number: 20240246126
Abstract: An apparatus and method for disinfecting probes. A probe may be positioned using a probe positioning system that locates the probe in the proper location for disinfecting. The probe may be subjected to a cleaner and/or rinsing liquid to remove foreign materials (e.g., bioburden, soil, and other like material) from the probe before disinfecting. After rinsing, a disinfectant is applied to the probe via one or more nozzles. The disinfectant is applied to the probe for a specified amount of time to disinfect the surface of the probe, and afterwards the probe is rinsed thoroughly to remove the disinfectant from the probe. The rinsing liquid and the disinfectant liquid are held in separate fluid circuits, yet heated to their respective ideal temperatures using the same heater assembly, the heater assembly having heating element shared by both fluid circuits.

  • Patent number: 11983786
Abstract: A computer-based system for facilitating the execution of law enforcement duties is disclosed. More particularly, according to one aspect of the invention, an electronic system is configured to facilitate the performance of law enforcement duties by quasi-instantaneously providing actionable intelligence to its users, such as front-line law enforcement officers, in response to a real-time query. According to another aspect of the invention, a system implements a set of automated status classifications for subjects with suspected or confirmed involvement in criminal activities. The status classifications specifically and concisely establish the subject's involvement in criminal activities. According to yet another aspect of the invention, a system executes a streamlined electronic process for handling and processing seized items so as to ensure that criminal assets are efficiently and effectively seized, and that asset forfeiture actions are effectively initiated against the seized items.
