  • Patent number: 9903252
Abstract: A method for encasing a body of an exhaust gas system with a housing which is wound around the body. Using a winding method, the body is placed in a loop formed by a belt-shaped conveyor element that can be driven in a conveyor device, wherein the conveyor element is seated against the outer casing face at a wrapping angle u of at least 270 degrees. Starting with a first edge, the metal strip is then introduced in a conveyor device between the body and the conveyor element, is drawn into the gap between the body and the conveyor element and is bent around the body until the body is encased at least twice by the metal strip.

  • Patent number: 8640818
Abstract: The present invention relates to speaker enclosures utilizing the golden ratio geometrically throughout the design to reduce reflections, resonance and phase shifting, and to improve the transient response. Enclosures can be box-shaped, trapezoidal, suspended or otherwise configured. The enclosure has a driver wall, a baffle and a rear wall. The driver wall and baffle define a front chamber, and the baffle and rear wall define a rear chamber. The volumetric ratio between the rear chamber and front chamber can be approximately 0.6. The rear chamber also can have braces or dividers that segment the chamber into a central portion and two side portions. The volumetric ratio between the side portions and the central portion can be approximately 0.6. Ports of various configurations are provided. Braces can be used in conjunction with the ports to diffuse the incoming air. The baffle can have a plurality of radiused holes there through.

  • Patent number: 7365876
Abstract: In a method for generating a color match between a target object having a plurality of different target color values and a source object, a target color space with target color locations to be correlated with target color values is generated for the target object. For the source object, a source color space having a plurality of source color locations is generated, wherein the source color locations are correlated with a source color value, respectively. For each target color location a position in the vicinity of a similar source color location is determined within the source color space. The spacing of this position from the similar source color location is determined, and, based on the spacing, the source color value correlated with the similar source color location is changed.
