  • Publication number: 20120156080
Abstract: A toothed wheel machine including a housing for receiving two meshing toothed wheels. The toothed wheels are axially mounted in a sliding manner by axial surfaces between bearing bodies received in the housing, and radially by a bearing shaft received in the bearing bodies. Hydraulic mechanical forces are generated during the operation of the toothed wheel machine, an axial force component of the forces acting on each toothed wheel in the same axial direction. In order to counteract said axial force component, a pressure field is provided between at least one axial surface of one of the toothed wheels in the direction of the action of the axial force component, and the bearing body adjacent to the at least one axial surface.

  • Publication number: 20120114514
Abstract: A toothed wheel machine including a housing for receiving two meshing and especially helical-toothed wheels. The toothed wheels are axially mounted in sliding manner by axial surfaces between bearing bodies received in the housing, and radially by a bearing shaft received in the bearing bodies. During the operation of the toothed wheel machine, an acial component of a force resulting from the hydraulic and mechanical forces generated during operation acts on each toothed wheel in the same axial direction. A counter-force against the respective axial force component is applied to the toothed wheels and/or bearing shafts, each counter-force applying the same amount of pressure as the respective axial force component, or less than same.

  • Patent number: 7502437
Abstract: Due to the provision of slit collimators an intensity of a fan beam is reduced significantly such that expensive high power x-ray tubes have to be used. According to an exemplary embodiment of the present invention, a high power tube may be used with a very long focus in combination with a focusing collimator. The tube can be a cheap fixed anode tube still with a high power of, for example, 15 kW due to the large focus. The collimator may ensure that the resolution of the reconstructed scatter function is not degraded. The illuminated slice thickness is increased which may allow for an isotropic spatial resolution.

  • Patent number: 7042984
Abstract: Transmission channels indicated as occupied in a communications system having peripheral modules are inspected for preparing subscriber-side transmission channels. A test sequence transmitter on the system side transmits a test sequence to a control unit for a selected peripheral module. The test sequence is transmitted to a test sequence receiver over a transmission channel, which is indicated as occupied and which is assigned to the peripheral module. The test sequence, which is transmitted by the test sequence transmitter, and the test sequence, which is received by the test sequence receiver, are inspected for an evaluation of conformity. In the instance of non-conformity, the selected transmission channel is disconnected in a targeted manner.
