  • Patent number: 11635380
Abstract: A system and method for calibration of a fluorometer using a calibration cell comprising a sealed container housing one or more calibration solutions of known fluorescence. The inventive calibration device includes a sealed calibration cell housed in a storage chamber that may be permanently or temporarily affixed to the top of a fluorometer such that the calibration solution can be moved by manual or automated means directly from the storage chamber to the fluorometer cell for a calibration operation. All of the solution needed for any given calibration can be contained exclusively, in small quantity, inside the calibration cell.

  • Publication number: 20200312549
Abstract: An energy storage assembly of capacitors (10) in a housing which is attached to a mounting surface (2). The mounting surface could be the inner surface of the rotary part (hub, (1)) of a wind turbine. The energy storage assembly being characterized in that it comprises a resiliently compressible material (40) situated between the energy storage element (capacitor) and a mounting surface. The resiliently compressible material serves to prevent damage to the energy storage caused by the movement of the wind turbine. The energy storage assembly acting as an emergency power supply for a pitch control mechanism of a wind turbine.

  • Publication number: 20050119827
Abstract: A combined GPS/Bluetooth module for a vehicle may be mounted on, e.g., the rear view mirror housing to receive position information from GPS and other information (such as tire pressure and other vehicle diagnostic information) over a Bluetooth link. In turn, the module can transmit over Bluetooth both the GPS data and the diagnostic information to the vehicle onboard computer or to a PDA, wireless telephone, or other display-bearing device in the vehicle for display thereof.
