  • Publication number: 20240167762
Abstract: Included are systems, methods and devices for cooling beverages, comprising an upper insulated basin sized to allow placement of cooling fluid and beverage containers; a separator device sized to restrain the beverage containers such that during agitation, each of the beverage containers does not impact any other of the beverage containers or the side surface of the upper insulated basin and allows for cooling fluid to contact an exterior surface of each of the beverage containers; and an agitation section placeable in physical communication with the upper basin that can provide, when activated, motion to the upper insulated basin.

  • Publication number: 20230232138
Abstract: Systems and methods include an optical switch system which provides a combination of µLED arrays, PDs, imaging fiber cables, and crosspoint switch on a single chip. The system includes one or more input ports with each inputport configured to connect to an inputfiber bundle. The system additionally includes one or more output ports with each output port configured to connect to an outputfiber cable, wherein each of the inputfiber bundle and the outputfiber cable include a plurality of fiber cores. An electrical crosspoint switch is connected to the one or more input ports and the one or more output ports, wherein the electrical crosspoint switch is configured to connect a given input port to a corresponding output port, including all signals in the input fiber cable to the corresponding output fiber cable.

  • Patent number: 7801256
Abstract: A system and method for canceling interference over a group of signals. One or more wires in a group of wires are designated to carry one or more reference signals. The one or more reference signals are used to cancel interference from the data carrying signals in the group of signals. Preferably, the one or more reference signals are subtracted from the data carrying signals to cancel interference from the data carrying signals. Analog or digital elements can be used to subtract the one or more reference signals from the data carrying signals. For example, an operation amplifier or a DSP may be used to perform the subtraction. Filters may be used to further adapt the one or more reference signals prior to the subtracting step to optimize interference cancellation. The filters may be either digital or analog.

  • Publication number: 20070127489
Abstract: An apparatus and method for optimizing the utilization and the delivery of multiple applications over a Digital Subscriber Loop (DSL). The apparatus detects the type of media being delivered in each Protocol Data Unit (PDU) over a Digital Subscriber Loop (DSL) and switches or otherwise directs the PDU to a Virtual Circuit (VC) on the DSL best suited for that type of media. The apparatus allows for the delivery of multiple applications to the Customer Premises Equipment (CPE) requiring VCs of differing profile or characteristic. Another aspect of the present invention includes an apparatus and method for dynamically re-partitioning the bandwidth allocated to each VC of differing profile on the DSL, for the purposes of optimizing and utilizing all available bandwidth on the DSL.

  • Patent number: 6721355
Abstract: A data traffic predictor for a modem, and a method for power management in a modem, are described. The data traffic predictor includes a data traffic monitor, a periodicity detector and a power mode controller. The data traffic monitor monitors incoming data to the modem. If the periodicity detector determines if the data is substantially periodic, which indicates that the data traffic is isochronous, the power mode controller changes the modem power mode to quiescent power mode operating at a minimum data rate to permit the isochronous data traffic to be carried. The apparatus and method of the present invention permit low level control of a modem's power mode, and permit the use of a quiescent power mode running at a reduced data rate, without sacrificing quick recovery time to a full on power mode when required.
