  • Patent number: 10029680
Abstract: A method and a device for handing over a motor vehicle to the driver during an automatic parking space-leaving maneuver performed by an automatic parking function. The method includes receiving an external parking space-leaving signal reflecting the driver's wish to get the motor vehicle out of the parking space, initializing the parking space-leaving maneuver and supplying an operating voltage to all vehicle components as a result of the reception of the parking space-leaving signal, carrying out the parking space-leaving maneuver from a parked position into a target position, switching off the voltage supply to predetermined vehicle components once the target position has been reached; and connecting the voltage supply to all vehicle components when the driver performs predetermined actions upon getting into the vehicle in the target position.

  • Patent number: 9140047
Abstract: A method for lowering a window pane includes lowering the window pane from the starting position by a defined distance by a window lifter in a motor vehicle door after a state signal is received. The state signal is triggered by the actuation of a seatbelt buckle. By using the seatbelt buckle for the purposes of emitting the signal, the window pane is lowered by the defined distance only if the motor vehicle operator or one of motor vehicle occupants is expected to exit the motor vehicle.

Abstract: A method is provided for lowering a window pane that is lowered from a starting position by a defined distance by means of a window lifter in a motor vehicle door body after a state signal is received. The state signal is triggered by the actuation of a seatbelt buckle. By using the seatbelt buckle for the purposes of emitting the signal, the window panes are lowered by a defined distance only if the motor vehicle operator or other motor vehicle occupants want to exit the motor vehicle with a high degree of probability.

  • Patent number: 6271749
Abstract: A semi-automatic transmission for a vehicle having a diesel engine is provided which, upon start up of an engine ignition, goes through a warm up stage before the engine begins normal operation. An electronic controller is connected to the engine, a clutch, a gear box, and a signal transmitter. During start up of the engine, the electronic controller cause the signal transmitter to emit a signal which notifies the driver of the vehicle, based upon the position of an ignition key in the ignition lock, to disengage the clutch. Alternatively, during start up of the engine, the electronic controller detects whether the gear box is in a neutral position and whether the clutch is not disengaged. If the gear box is not in the neutral position or if the clutch is not disengaged, the electronic controller causes the signal transmitter to emit a signal which notifies the driver of the vehicle to disengage the clutch.
