  • Publication number: 20250141873
Abstract: A data management system (DMS) may receive an indication of a configuration for a quorum-based authorization (QAuth) policy that controls interactions between two or more users and a security cloud service of the DMS. The configuration may include a policy scope for the QAuth policy, protected actions that trigger the QAuth policy, and compute objects to which the QAuth policy is assigned. The DMS may receive an instruction to assign a set of role-based access control (RBAC) permissions associated with the QAuth policy to a first user. The DMS may receive a request to perform a protected action on at least one compute object to which the QAuth policy is assigned. In response to the request, the DMS may trigger a two-person rule (TPR) enforcement mechanism of the QAuth policy by requesting approval from the first user with the set of RBAC permissions.

  • Publication number: 20250137967
Abstract: A gas concentration determination system includes an acoustic sensor generating acoustic sensor data and a humidity sensor generating relative humidity data. A modified relative humidity is determined based at least in part on the acoustic sensor data and the relative humidity data. A gas concentration is determined using the modified relative humidity and the acoustic data. Using the modified relative humidity instead of the relative humidity data may reduce false positives in detecting gas leaks in HVAC systems, for example.

  • Patent number: 12287134
Abstract: An icemaker includes a casing that receives water from a water supply and is in thermal communication with an evaporator of a sealed system that chills the casing to freeze the water. An auger is mounted within the interior volume and is rotatable to scrape the ice from the casing and urge it through an extruder to form nugget ice. A BLDC motor is mechanically coupled to the auger to selectively rotate the auger. A controller determines a target speed of the auger based at least in part on the ice production parameter, and operates the BLDC motor to rotate the auger at the target speed. The BLDC motor with the speed-closed control loop can provide the constant speed and enough torque to prevent the ice maker from freezing. The controller can adjust the PWM and the voltage will be adjusted slightly, then the torque will be adjusted accordingly.

Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive downlink communications with a receive beam that is formed using a set of antenna elements. The UE may measure, in parallel with the receiving the downlink communications, a channel impulse response (CIR) for each antenna element of the set of antenna elements in a round-robin fashion. The UE may generate a second receive beam or a transmit beam based at least in part on the CIRs for the set of antenna elements. Numerous other aspects are described.

  • Publication number: 20250122431
Abstract: Recycle content pyoil is cracked in a cracker furnace to make olefins and the coil outlet temperature of the r-pyoil fed coils can be lowered by adding r-pyoil to the cracker feedstock, or alternatively, the coil outlet temperature of the r-pyoil fed tubes can rise if the mass flow rates of the combined cracker stream containing r-pyoil are kept the same or lowered. Further, increasing the hydrocarbon mass flow rate by addition of r-pyoil can be achieved to also increase the output of ethylene and propylene in the cracker effluent. The cracker furnace can accept ethane and/or propane feedstocks in vapor form along with a liquid and/or vapor feed of r-pyoil.
