  • Publication number: 20240021949
Abstract: A battery alignment system includes a housing having a groove along a side of the housing, a first set of surfaces that define a recess, and first electrical contacts positioned at least partially within the recess. The battery alignment system also includes a battery having a tab to slide within the groove of the housing to facilitate a first alignment, a second set of surfaces that protrude from an end of the battery to slide into the recess of the housing to facilitate a second alignment, and a third surface that extends from one of the second set of surfaces. The third surface engages one of the first set of surfaces to facilitate a third alignment. The battery also includes second electrical contacts that engage the first electrical contacts.

  • Publication number: 20160303951
Abstract: An automated shade apparatus for a vehicle's windshield includes a housing having a pair of openings, a drive assembly disposed within the housing and having a belt disposed around rollers, at least one of the rollers driven by a motor, a retractable shade roller coupled to the housing and having a sheet disposed around the shade roller, and a collapsible scissor arm assembly coupled to the housing and having a plurality of arms with a pair of top ends disposed through the housing openings and coupled to the belt and a pair of bottom ends coupled to the sheet. The motor drives the belt in a first direction to extend the arms, thereby deploying the sheet over the windshield. The motor drives the belt in a second direction to collapse the arms, thereby retracting the sheet around the shade roller to expose the windshield.

  • Publication number: 20120301200
Abstract: A handheld pattern creating device and method of use of the same are disclosed. In one embodiment, a rotational member is rotatably positioned within a housing under the power of a first drive mechanism to angularly traverse an x-y plane. A rail track is disposed on a surface of the rotational member in order to provide a radial path for a carriage that houses a tool tip. A guide track disposed on the surface of the rotational member includes a curved portion that provides a non-linear path. A second drive mechanism drives the carriage transversely along the radial path of the rail track such that a flexible rack gear travels the non-linear path of the guide track.

  • Patent number: 8028465
Abstract: A fishing lure has a lip, a paddle, and a hook extending rearwardly therefrom. The lip includes a first surface that includes an eyelet extending therefrom. The paddle extends from the lip on a vertical plane during use of the fishing lure, the paddle having opposed side surfaces that together counterbalance the movement of the lure imparted by the lip, to steer the fishing lure in the direction of movement. The hook has a shank and a barbed point, the shank being fixedly attached to and extending from the paddle such that the hook lies on the same vertical plane as the paddle, and such that the hook extends rearwardly opposite the direction of movement. A method of assembly of the fishing lure with a soft pliable bait is also disclosed.
