  • Patent number: 11925548
Abstract: An apparatus for delivering an implant to an eye using hydraulic fluid flow or pressure. An implant may be stored, advanced, and delivered to an eye using hydraulic fluid stored in a sterile container through a hollow advancement plunger. The plunger may rigidly advance the implant to a sealed position in a first phase, and then the implant may be advanced into the eye via hydraulic pressure or fluid flow in a second phase.

  • Publication number: 20210304158
Abstract: Systems, computer program products, and methods are described herein for implementing a resource evaluation engine within a technical environment. The present invention is configured to establish a communication link with a technology platform of a third party system; electronically receive, via the communication link, one or more resources associated with the technology platform of the third party system; determine one or more supervisory requirements associated with the entity; determine whether the one or more resources associated with the technology platform meets the one or more supervisory requirements associated with the entity; and validate the technology platform of the third party based on at least determining that the one or more resources associated with the technology platform meets the one or more supervisory requirements associated with the entity.

  • Patent number: 11094230
Abstract: A split flap display is provided. The display includes a wall frame mounted on a wall. The wall frame includes a plurality of panel guides extending outwardly therefrom, a breakout board mounted thereon, and a plurality of cantilevered snap locks extending outwardly therefrom. An array of carousel modules is mounted in a cabinet. The array includes a single row and a plurality of columns. The cabinet includes a locking slot adapted to releasably receive a free end of one of the plurality of cantilevered snap locks and a slide lock configured for longitudinal translation engagement with the free end of one of the plurality of cantilevered snap locks, such that translation of the slide lock displaces the free end of the cantilevered snap lock out of engagement with the locking slot. When the free end of the cantilevered snap lock is out of engagement with the locking slot, the array can be removed from the wall frame.

  • Patent number: 10997950
Abstract: A hand-held display device includes a container having a front display having a perimeter, a top side, a left side, a right side, and a bottom side, together all defining the perimeter of the front display, and a back side. The front display includes a plurality of display portions. Each display portion provides an array of display markers. The display markers are configured to display a first side when an electrical current is passed therethrough and a second side when the electrical current is not passed therethrough. A plurality of controllers is mounted on the container. The plurality of controllers equals the plurality of display portions. Each controller is configured to selectively pass the electrical current through a predetermined configuration of the display markers in a respective one of the first plurality of display portions, such that a predetermined indicia is displayed.

  • Publication number: 20140339920
Abstract: A system and method to monitor and control a battery string in an uninterruptible power supply unit is provided. The present system and method aids in the prevention of thermal runaway conditions which may lead to battery damage and fire. Battery parameters are measured and compared to a given standard to determine if the measured parameter deviates from a range of acceptable standard range. A time delay is initiated if the measured parameter is outside the acceptable standard range and the battery parameter is remeasured. If the measured parameter is still outside the acceptable standard range, than an alarm is activated, which may include disconnecting the battery string from the charger and producing a perceptible alarm. False alarms are reduced and true runaway scenarios can be prevented at an early stage with the present system and method.

  • Publication number: 20090128461
Abstract: A large scale LED display system (12) is provided on a building structure (100). The system has a screen (12) formed of a number of side by side display panels (14) which may be foldable or rollable. Each panel has a number of equally spaced transparent polycarbonate tubes (80) which house pixel units (50) of LEDs (51) connected to printed circuit board (120) and a row controller (121) for controlling luminance of the LEDs. A bus member (54) convey power and video control signals from a panel controller (77) to each row controller. The panel controller has an initialising process adapted to allocate temporary addresses for the tubes and determine screen size accordingly. Video segments are extracted by the row controllers based on the addresses associated with the video control signals from the panel controller.
