  • Publication number: 20240132578
Abstract: The invention provides a method for obtaining a broadly neutralizing antibody (bNab), including screening memory B cell cultures from a donor PBMC sample for neutralization activity against a plurality of HIV-1 species, cloning a memory B cell that exhibits broad neutralization activity; and rescuing a monoclonal antibody from that memory B cell culture. The resultant monoclonal antibodies may be characterized by their ability to selectively bind epitopes from the Env proteins in native or monomeric form, as well as to inhibit infection of HIV-1 species from a plurality of clades. Compositions containing human monoclonal anti-HIV antibodies used for prophylaxis, diagnosis and treatment of HIV infection are provided. Methods for generating such antibodies by immunization using epitopes from conserved regions within the variable loops of gp120 are provided. Immunogens for generating anti-HIV1 bNAbs are also provided. Furthermore, methods for vaccination using suitable epitopes are provided.

  • Patent number: 11238481
Abstract: A financial institution can provide a best price guarantee to debit or credit card account holders. By providing a consolidated system including automatic price monitoring of purchased products and automatic claim form generation upon identifying a lower price, the consumer is relieved of the burden typically associated with conventional price matching.

  • Publication number: 20140365319
Abstract: An online content server includes a memory device for storing data and a processor in communication with the memory device. The processor is programmed to store dynamic online content and to receive a content request for displaying dynamic online content on a mobile computing device. The content request is initiated at least in part by a publication request. The processor is programmed to determine that the content request is associated with one of the dynamic online content and to deliver the dynamic online content with an overlay layer to the mobile computing device for display to a user. The overlay layer is positioned at least partially over the dynamic online content. The overlay layer allows the user to activate the dynamic online content or to navigate to a navigated publication item representing one of the first publication item or a second publication item.

  • Publication number: 20100088390
Abstract: Described is a technology that uses a web service as a proxy for transferring data between mobile communications devices. A short range communication link is established between a source device and a destination device. The source device sends a content identifier over the short range communication link to the destination device, that the destination devices uses to access the content, including when the short range communication link no longer exists. Also described is security for the content via authentication data (e.g., credentials) and policy associated with the content to control its access. The source device may select the destination device or may broadcast the content identifier to any number of destination devices within range.

  • Publication number: 20090026525
Abstract: A method for fabricating a memory is provided. A tunneling dielectric layer, a first conductive layer, and a mask layer are formed on a substrate. The mask layer, the first conductive layer, the tunneling dielectric layer, and the substrate are patterned to form trenches in the substrate. A passivation layer and isolation structures are formed in sequence to fill the trenches, and the etching rate of the isolation structures is greater than that of the passivation layer. After the mask layer is removed, a second conductive layer is formed on the first conductive layer. Portions of the isolation structures are removed to expose the sidewalls of the first and the second conductive layers. Further, a third conductive layer is formed on the exposed sidewalls of the first and the second conductive layers. An inter-gate dielectric layer and a control gate are formed on the substrate.
