Abstract: Orthodontic aligners can be used to help shape a patient's teeth, jaw, and gums. Aligners are designed to move teeth into a desired position. Prior to the treatment, a dental professional will prepare a treatment plan (e.g., a set of aligners, etc.) Each aligner in the set may perform a different action on different subsets of teeth. Many dental professionals use animation software to show the patient an animation/video of the changes that are going to occur to the patient's teeth/jaw over time as a result of the treatment plan. While the animation may visually depict how the teeth and mouth are going to change, it does not tell the patient what is being performed (i.e., the actions that are being taken to move the teeth). As a result, the patient often has a significant number of questions because they are not properly educated on the treatment.

The appreciation capability can also be based off of organizations that the individual is involved with. Abstract: Provided herein is a system for creating a 3D animation file of a patient's dental treatment plan. The system may provide a model of a perfect or final state of teeth after treatment. The system may capture changes to the model which result in a patient's current state of the teeth. The system may then generate an animation, in reverse, which morphs the current state of the patient's teeth into the final state. The example embodiments provide an animation file which can be provided to the patient via telemedicine rather than an in-person visit.

A suture delivery assembly may be sized for insertion through a single incision and positioned into proximity with a damaged or ruptured tissue region. A first portion of the damaged tissue region may be positioned within or along a channel defined along the suture delivery assembly and one or more lengths of suture may be secured to the first portion via the device. A second portion of the damaged tissue region may be similarly positioned within or along the channel and one or more additional lengths of suture may be secured to the second portion via the device. The first and second portions may then be approximated and secured to one another via the sutures to facilitate healing of the damaged tissue region.
