Abstract: An actuating mechanism (4), for a longitudinal adjuster (1) of a vehicle seat, includes an upper rail (2.1) and a lower rail (2.2), which rails are lockable to each other by at least one lock (3). The actuating mechanism (4) includes an actuating arm (4.1), a release lever (5), a positioning element (5.2), which is arranged on the release lever (5) and is mounted pivotably at a free lever end (5.3) of the release lever (5), and a connecting region (5.1) which is arranged on the release lever (5) and has an opening (5.4) provided for the non-rotatable fastening of the actuating arm (4.1). The free lever end (5.3) is configured for arrangement in an interior space (I) of the rails (2.1, 2.2). The connecting region (5.1) is configured so as to be able to pass through an upper side of the upper rail (2.1).

  • Patent number: 9963049
Abstract: A rail pair (1), for a vehicle seat (10), includes at least a lower seat rail (S1) and an upper seat rail (S2), which engage around one another in such a way that a rail profile is formed and which can be moved in relation to each other in a longitudinal direction (L) and can be interlocked by a rail locking device (2). Rolling elements (4) are arranged between the seat rails (S1, S2) in an interaction region. The upper seat rail (S2) includes two side walls (S2.1, S2.2), which two side walls (S2.1, S2.2), in a vertical orientation, protrude largely in parallel and perpendicularly from a bottom region (S2.3). One of the side walls (S2.2) is bent outward in a continued course in some regions of the longitudinal direction (L).

  • Patent number: 9528880
Abstract: A temperature measurement system includes a plurality of filaments. The plurality of filaments are configured to emit thermal radiation in a relatively broad and substantially continuous wavelength band at least partially representative of a temperature of the plurality of filaments. A first and second portion of the filaments has a differing first and a second diameter and/or emissivity, respectively. The system also includes a detector array configured to generate electrical signals at least partially representative of the thermal radiation received from the filaments. The system further includes a controller communicatively coupled to the detector array configured to transform the first electrical signals to a first temperature indication at least partially as a function of the first diameter and/or first emissivity and transform the second electrical signals to a second temperature indication at least partially as a function of the second diameter and/or emissivity.

  • Patent number: 9335215
Abstract: A temperature measurement system includes at least one filament configured to emit thermal radiation in a relatively broad and substantially continuous wavelength band that is at least partially representative of a temperature of the at least one filament. The system also includes an optical system configured to receive at least a portion of the thermal radiation emitted from the filament. The optical system includes a wavelength splitting device configured to split the emitted thermal radiation into at least one relatively narrow wavelength band of thermal radiation. The optical system also includes a detector array configured to receive the at least one relatively narrow wavelength band of thermal radiation and to generate electrical signals at least partially representative of the received thermal radiation. The temperature measurement system further includes a controller communicatively coupled to the detector array.

  • Patent number: 8308120
Abstract: The invention relates to an adjusting device for the longitudinal adjustment of an automotive component, especially a vehicle seat. The adjusting device comprises an upper longitudinal rail with respect to the adjusting device and a lower longitudinal rail with respect to the adjusting device. The adjusting device comprises a locking device in such a manner that when the locking device is activated, a relative adjustment of the longitudinal rails in relation to each other can be blocked and when the locking device is released, the longitudinal rails can be unblocked. The locking device comprises a plurality of detent pins, at least one detent pin being adjusted in the locking position to lock the longitudinal rails and all detent pins being adjusted in a release position to release the longitudinal rails. The detent pins have a detent profile that is designed in such a manner that a first front section of the detent pin has a flare angle and a second section of the detent pin has a transition.
