  • Patent number: 11142725
Abstract: A composition comprising: from 25 to 80 wt % of at least one vinyl acetate-vinyl alcohol copolymer, where the copolymer comprises at least 85 mol % vinyl alcohol units; from 1 to 25 wt % of at least one polyhydric alcohol; and from 5 to 50 wt % of a first active agent which is: a polymer comprising a monomer having at least one carboxylic acid group or a salt or ester thereof; a polymer comprising a monomer having at least one imine group or a salt thereof; or a polymer comprising a monomer having at least one aspartic acid group or a salt or ester thereof. A package containing the composition. A method of preparing the composition, the method comprising extruding the composition. A method of machine dishwashing, wherein the first active agent is released into wash water over the course of a plurality of dishwashing programs.

  • Publication number: 20170211020
Abstract: The invention provides a method of automatic dishwashing, comprising supplying an automatic dishwasher detergent composition to an automatic dishwasher and washing glassware in the dishwasher, wherein the detergent composition comprises a compound comprising an anion of Formula 1: wherein R is selected from the group consisting of: —H; —CH3—CnH2nCH3; —CH2OH; —CnH2nCOOH; —CnH2nCOO; —CnH2nSO3H; —CnH2nSO3; —CnH2nNH2; —CnH2nNHR?; —CnH2nNR?2; —NHC(?O)—R?; and —CH2PO(OR?)2; wherein n>1; and R? is H, alkyl or aryl. The invention also provides the use of this composition to reduce glassware corrosion during an automatic dishwasher wash cycle.

  • Publication number: 20040182183
Abstract: A measurement device is provided for early detection of damage to a machine part that is supplied with lubricant from a decentralized electromechanical lubricant dispenser. The device has a measurement sensor and a measurement instrument that has a circuit board having integrated circuits, interfaces for the measurement sensor and for a connection to an electronic control of the lubricant dispenser, as well as a battery, which is soldered onto the circuit board, in order to prevent voltage drops. The measurement sensor has a device for recording analog measurement signals, provided with power by the measurement instrument. Furthermore, the arrangement is made so that the integrated circuits release the power supply of the measurement sensor at predetermined intervals, only for a short period of time, and interrupt the power supply again after the current measurement values have been detected.
