  • Publication number: 20150170182
Abstract: A product identifier and cardholder identifier are received, specifying a product and cardholder. Computer database(s) are accessed to retrieve, based on the cardholder identifier, data pertaining to rewards card(s) owned by the cardholder. Reward parameter(s) are associated with each rewards card. The database(s) is accessed to identify, based on the product identifier, merchant identifiers corresponding to merchants offering the product and corresponding price data. At one or more computer processors, for each rewards card and each merchant, a first amount of rewards is computed, which is an amount of rewards that the cardholder will earn by completing a transaction for the product with said merchant using said rewards card, wherein the rewards amount is computed based on at least the reward parameters associated with said rewards card and the offer price corresponding to said merchant. The first rewards amounts corresponding to respective rewards cards and to respective merchants are displayed.

  • Publication number: 20150063980
Abstract: A two-sided turbocharger compressor wheel and a housing forming a diffuser for the compressor. A first side and a second side of the compressor wheel are characterized by different values of a trim and of an annulus area. A first side of the diffuser surrounds the first side of the compressor wheel, and a second side of the diffuser surrounds the second side of the compressor wheel. The first and second sides of the diffuser are characterized by different annulus area ratios. The blades of the first and second sides of the compressor wheel are angularly offset from one another. The compressor wheel is configured for greater flow through the side of the compressor wheel that faces away from a related turbine wheel.

  • Publication number: 20070207820
Abstract: Short messages such as SMS format messages intended for a mobile station (24) can be accessed using a second, different device (42-46) to increase the accessibility of such messages. A disclosed example includes a message center (22) that has a receiver portion (34) for receiving short messages from a plurality of device (26-32) on behalf of an intended recipient mobile station (24). A message storage portion (36) at least temporarily stores such messages at the message center (22). An access portion (40) provides access to such a short message responsive to a valid request from a second, different device (42-46) so that such a message can be received at the second, different device.

  • Publication number: 20070190956
Abstract: A status notification system is implemented on a wireless network. In a standard manner, a network user initiates a communication to a “recipient” unit at the user's “source” wireless unit. If the call is unanswered, information relating to the status of the recipient unit is obtained and transmitted for display on the source unit. The displayed status might be “busy”, “in a meeting,” or the like, as determined by the system and/or as designated by the user of the recipient unit. The status information may be obtained from the recipient unit, by referencing a database record, or by determining the operational condition of the recipient unit. In another embodiment, when the status of a wireless unit changes, or when the user of the wireless unit changes a designated status, the change in status is transmitted to each wireless unit listed on a “buddy list” for the user.

  • Patent number: 5779336
Abstract: A liquid crystal display with projecting function including an open-top box body with enclosed sides, a projection light source, a condensing lens, a liquid crystal display plate, a relay plate, a reflective lens and a back light plate. The projection light source is disposed at the bottom side of the box body. The condensing lens is disposed in the box body above the projection light source. The liquid crystal display plate has one side connected to a display light source and the other side connected to the box body. The reflective lens is secured below the relay plate. The back light plate is secured above the relay plate. The relay plate, reflective lens and the back light plate may be closed and accommodated in the box body between the liquid crystal display plate and the condensing lens for displaying purposes. They may also be obliquely disposed on the upper side of the liquid crystal display plate for projection purposes.
