  • Publication number: 20240009080
Abstract: A pharmaceutical container includes an inner surface and an outer surface. At least part of the inner surface is coated with a coating to form a coated inner surface. On the coated inner surface the container, based on negative mode Time-of-Flight-Secondary Ion Mass Spectrometry (ToF-SIMS) data, has a relative lipid nanoparticle (LNP)-incubated Multivariate Curve Resolution (MCR) score ratio of lipid factor1 of less than 0.67.

  • Publication number: 20220315284
Abstract: A coated glass container includes: a glass surface; and a coating that coats at least part of the glass surface to form a coated glass surface. The coating includes at least one layer. The coated glass container fulfills the following parameter: leaching of [Na] ions after an alkaline treatment is 10 mg/l or less [Na] ions.

  • Publication number: 20220306341
Abstract: A coated container includes: a container having a surface; and a coating applied to at least part of the surface to form a coated surface. Leaching of at least one of one or more types of ions or one or more types of compounds is determined by performing an alkaline treatment on at least part of the coated surface to obtain an alkaline treated surface and performing an acidic treatment on at least part of the alkaline treated surface to obtain an acidic treated surface. The leaching of the at least one of one or more types of ions or one or more types of compounds from the coated surface is 5.00 mg/l or less.

  • Publication number: 20220306527
Abstract: A coated glass element includes: a glass surface; and a coating that coats at least part of the glass surface. The coating includes at least one layer. The at least one layer of the coating fulfills the following parameter: [Si2C5H15O2?]20/[Si2C5H15O2?]80?1.0. [Si2C5H15O2?]20 are counts of [Si2C5H15O2] ions, measured by a time-of-flight secondary ion mass spectrometry (TOF-SIMS), at 20% of a time a sputter gun beam needs to reach the glass surface and [Si2C5H15O2?]80 are counts of [Si2C5H15O2?]80 ions, measured by a TOF-SIMS, at 80% of a time a sputter gun beam needs to reach the glass surface.

Abstract: A coated glass element includes: a glass surface and a coating that coats at least part of the glass surface. The coating has at least one layer. The at least one layer of the coating fulfills the following parameter: [Al+]80/[Al+]20?1.8. [Al+]20 are counts of [Al+] ions, measured by a time-of-flight secondary ion mass spectrometry (TOF-SIMS), at 20% of a time a sputter gun beam needs to reach the glass surface and [Al+]80 are counts of [Al+] ions, measured by a TOF-SIMS, at 80% of a time a sputter gun beam needs to reach the glass surface.

  • Patent number: 9322766
Abstract: A rapid test method for evaluating the delamination in glass packaging is provided. The method includes exposing the glass packaging means to an atmosphere consisting of steam in order to form a corrosion zone; and subsequently carrying out at least one other step. The other step includes: visualizing the corrosion zone using a light microscope; visualizing the corrosion zone by a staining process with a subsequent inspection process; or removing glass components in ultrapure water and quantifying the removed glass components. The rapid test method provides a conclusion about whether a glass packaging exhibits a tendency to delaminate or not in a simple and reliable manner and in a relatively short time span.
