  • Patent number: 11230034
Abstract: A method for producing an aircraft structural component includes the steps of introducing a plurality of semi-finished product layers for producing a component from a fibre-reinforced, thermoplastic plastic material into a compression mould, applying pressure to the stacked semi-finished product layers, the stacked semi-finished product layers being fixed, before pressure is applied, at particular points in their position in the compression mould and/or relative to one another in such a way that, while pressure is being applied to the semi-finished product layers stacked in the compression mould, a sliding movement of the semi-finished product layers relative to one another and/or relative to the compression mould, preventing wrinkling in the semi-finished product layers, takes place, and removing the aircraft structural component from the compression mould.

  • Patent number: 10112353
Abstract: An assembly for producing a fiber composite workpiece having a base tool, including a first tool part and a second tool part, arranged relative to one another either in a closed position in which they enclose an internal space, or in an open position wherein a preform can be mounted in the internal space and maintained there in a predetermined shape. The base tool includes a connection to convey matrix material into the internal space, and has a device for holding the first and second tool parts together in a closed position. A tool insert is provided which is separate from the base tool, the tool insert being mounted in the internal space of the base tool, and the tool insert including a cavity for accommodating a preform and a shaping surface, facing the cavity, for maintaining the preform in a predetermined shape.

  • Publication number: 20160075112
Abstract: Joined-together fiber composite components of aircraft or spacecraft and a method for the production thereof, comprise the steps of a) positioning the components to be joined, b) determining the gap dimensions of the joint, c) positioning filling material made of thermoplastic material and the parts to be joined at the joining position, d) fixing the components to be joined by heating the filling material made of thermoplastic material, e) drilling and riveting the components to be joined.
